Would a K&N conical filter just ok or is it better to go in for the intake kit (57i series) as suggested for swift 1.3l in the K&N website or are there better options.
Hie Puzz,I hav a vxi with a K&N intake kit.its called APOLLO.cost me 10k and is pretty god.gr8 sound after 3.5k on the rpm.registers more than 100kmph in second gear.and even efficiency went up by around 1.5km.Its got a pipe which was made by my fitting mechanics but they say u can get k&n pipe as its an original accessory,it was not on the k&n website.

busa you are probably ill informed of the fact that the people at hyndai dont just add the ABS sticker on the boot of the Getz, infact the Getx GLE or what ever top end model is called does have an ABS also IMO that no manufacturer woud put fake badging on the cars that they manufacture.!!

What do you mean by a muffler extension , are you talking about the muffler tip or the complete end can itself ?

If its the muffler tip , it will set you back by a few hundreds only.

Mufflers will cost your somewhere around Rs.4-5k though not sure whether any brands lower than that is available.

Instead I would suggest to stretch a bit for FFE (Viper)

Edit: Sorry I thought is the complete end can. Muffler end tip, Whats that used for?

muffler tips would hardly cost you a few hundreds.. You can get them at any car accessories shops.. There a a few unbranded ones too that costs about 150 but the chrome on that lasts only for an year or so.
