Thanks Busa, yes you pic states that DDIS doesn't need that steel pipe. And the Intake hose is going backwards unlike petrol. I am planning to insulate that steel pipe so that let it be cool as possible (Peter also suggested it). Thinking of using some asbetose material or the wool type thing used under bonnet and firewall.

Ram,

I got it from Peter. As you can see from the pics (I have uploaded the pics of installation, scroll up the thread). The exhaust is not an FFE, but just a SS muffler. I am waiting for some more KMs to be clocked to fix a set of headers. Dont want to make a bad name with the dealer now in case of warrenty

Mods for new swift

Hi frns,

I just got my new swift zxi this week and after going through many threads on swift mods , I was wondering if I would want to go for a few mods under the hood.
Please suggest if I should go for any mods or wait till till my car has a few broken bones.
Read a lot about tyre upgrades. But in case I go for a a tyres upgrade, wont my stock tyres go waste.

Moderator's note: Please use the Search function before posting new threads. Threads merged.

Yours a New Swift so wait down for mods on the engine,Because getting a Filter or FFE will void your warranty.Wait untill your free services period is completed.

Regarding tyres,What do u mean by stock tyres going waste??? You will get a buy back for your existing tyres and alloys when you upgrade!!!

well i got mine from Jerry and being a newbie here in trivandrum [and in team-bhp as well] i got a remus bolt-on fitted from car palace :( wish i had known about free flows earlier! ah well...

anyways cant complain now that wind and the wolf are just fine working in tandem to burn some serious rubber!

and jerry you back in trivandrum? the covering part is a bit loose and would like it if you could check it out sometime..

well the remus endcan has a nice growl to it but then these days i dont know if the growl is more from the green cotton "wind" demon or the remus "wolf" demon

paid a rather steep price i guess for the wolf 14k or so if memory serves me correct...

would love the projectors also but need to upgrade tyre and suspension first

What price can I expect to get on the buyback of my stock alloys/wheels. Plus, Where in
NCR is the best place to get such an upgrade done
