The "white-light" bug has bit me. I was shwon a pair of white light bulbs with a rating of 100/90. The car accessories guy was adamant that they wouldn't cause any damage to the holders and reflectors on my Xeta as the existing wiring could handle the load. So experts, should i go ahead and install these bulbs without the relay or is it really a must? What damage is possible if i dont use a relay?? Is installing the bulbs now and relay in a few weeks time a feasibility?? Guys, answer quick as i need to make a decision by tomorrow evening.

Santro fog lamps

Does anyone know what halogens are used in Santro fog lamps?
I want to upgrade the OE ones... these suck! Need something effective (read: good lighting), not flashy.
Pls suggest brands/models/prices and also if any relays/harness will be needed.

Thanks!

if they are the same as the getz then theyre h27. i guess youll have to go to your local car accessory guy and take the bulbs out and see the size. then you can get more powerful ones.

The OE bulb is a GE 881 bulb, its a 27w bulb and this type of bulb is not easily available.
The OE fog reflector sucks and no matter what bulb you put in the light is going to be almost the same.

Am also in the lookout for good hella fog lights that can be flush mounted in the bumper without much modification

Or you could get yourself a 3000K hid kit for the head lights, I have 4300K hids in the headlight and the light is awesome.

Make sure you get originals, most of people using philips bulbs are not using philips bulbs.
Where did you purchase the bulbs from, does anyone know a dealer in bangalore, who sells philips vision+ 60/55w.

NHC-Fogs

Would like to know the cost of after-market fog lamps for the NHC. I think the OEM version costs close to 19000 for a pair at the Honda showroom. I have a GXi -2005 model, I am interested in an aftermarket fitment in Mumbai.
Thanks

Well just few days back got my NHC. Gxi model. Use the car a lot to travel frm Mumbai to Karjat. The roads there are pathetic and the truck traffic is a pain in the neck. I had been to Milan Subway today as I wanted to put a Sun Film, I also had a sneek peek at the Philips Crystal Vision bulbs. Tat guy told me, tat this would be best suited for my purpose. He told me 1200 bucks includin fittin and cutout. I called up Linkway Honda to ask for their suggestion, all they advised was, not to opt for a new bulbs, specially powerful halogens, as they will ruin the reflectors. I wanted some suggestions on this and also, whether will buying from Milan subway be ideal ?
