Does your Phillips H4 130/100W emits white light or yellow? Phillips blue vision emits blue light.
All those are very nice prices. But keep this in mind that there are many fakes floating around in market. Make sure you dont pick up one.

I bought it from Trusted source in Yamuna Nagar, but do not know how to differentiate in fake and original one. On the rim of bulb it was mentioned 100/90w for Europe and UK roads only

While coming back from the Delhi Meet, One of Low beam Lamps in my XETA knocked off...Thinking of looking at Vision Plus 60/55,

What Type does the Indica XETA have ( H ???),also anyway to clean a clear type Headlight, One of them has slight dusting which is now noticeable in reflective appearance.

Where is a genuine Phillips Dealer in Delhi or is there any other lamp I can look at in the Specified Wattage.

Since its the same wattage +- 5 w , I don't think a Relay and Higher Amp Fuse would be needed.

Headlight Upgrade for ALTO LXI 2002

Hi,
i am from delhi & have to do night driving on the highway & city.
highway is unlit with loads of trees on the sides. so lotsa fog/haze/mist is in the air.
winters are approaching & its gonna get worse.

i am using the stock bulbs & its a transclucent headlamp cover on my 2002 ALTO. i have always felt that the illumination isnt adequate with them.

1)i would like to get myself a brighter pair of bulbs for night highway usage.

2)And would like to know if these wud be able to provide better visibility in foggy conditions or wud i have to go in for a separate fog lamp?

3)Plz lemme know wat to get & their price<r'ber am a n00b; EXACT model no. wud be very helpful !>
can anyone point me out to a good dealer for this in East delhi? wud DRIVEN have it?

4) on highway, shud i drive with High beam or Low? & for overtaking & warning others i give dipper (when on high beam) IS that OK ??

Thx a lot guys !

1. Get 100/90W bulbs like Halonix +60 or philips ralleye(if you can get orginal ones). Also get a relay with holders fitted. you can get all this in sector 16 noida for a total cost of 500rs. 250 for bulbs, and 250 for master wiring kit(thick nice wires)
2. Drive in low beam in fog. Thats the most you can do. Low mounted fog lamps will help slightly, but best is to drive slowly at low beam
3. Already answered.
4. When the road is empty with nobody approaching and nobody in front of you, drive high beam. If you are tailing someone, switch to low beam so you do not blind the guy in front. Also when a car comes at you, switch to low, if the other guy does not dip and you can't see a thing, switch to high, after all your safety is also important. Try keeping a hand towards the right to shield your eyes against the glare and slow down.

Hi, Iam using Philips 100/90 bulbs and am interested to change over to other whitelight bulbs, iam also facing a problem with my High beam lately, which gets OFF on its own (while driving) and comes up automatically after some time (1 min or so) I suspect some wiring defect which needs to be rectified can you please tell me which is the best shop in bangalore to buy the bulbs and also get the wiring rectified.

Hi guys,
I'm looking to upgrade the stock fog lamps on my Santro. What bulbs should I go for - need some good lighting, don't care about the looks.
Also, what kind of halogens are the Santro fogs?

EDIT:
Came across a similar query I had made on this very thread a while back. This thread is getting way too long!

Anyway, from what I was told then, the reflectors themselves are badly designed, so no matter how good the bulb is, the light quality will be poor. Is there any fog lamp unit that can be fitted on a Santro bumper without modification to the bumper? And what about the Swift?

How about these?
