Try K&N RR 3003 filter.remember to put the filter in a custom made box to resist hot airflow. Also keep the original duct positions.

K&N for my Scorpio

Hi everyone,
I have a Pulsar 200 DTSi. I recently fitted the K & N and rejetted my carb. The performance is just phenomenal . Now I would like to do the same for my 20000 KM old Scorpio 2.6 CRDe. I read here that an increase of 4 - 6 BHP can be expected. Am from Chennai. Can someone guide me to where it would be available and how it should be fitted ? Also is there any recalibration necessary to be done after fitting the filter. Kindly guide me....

@akshay1234 : Yeah, I know that. But that is what makes the K&N so irresistable . My Pulsar makes one hell of a noise now with the K&N and a freeflow exhaust. But noise is not of much concern when there is great performance. So just guide me to the model of K&N Air filter that can be used.

Thanks & Regards,

Thanx roadntrack. Am from Chennai. Where are these models available and is any specialist required for fitting it ? And BTW I saw that its necessary to provide a chrome piping and keep the air filter away from the engine....So I will do it and get back with the results....

Thanks,

As Swift VDI is already having Turbo charger and other things like head work free flow filter and exhaust pipe will come in picture after covering atleast 10K kms, so the Petes will do in initial phase, How much is it in Bangalore? As Psycho said will get at Hot Tracks on Residency road.

guys, i've got a scorpio 2.6dx (2003 model), it does not have any ECU or chips inside, currently it runs on completely stock parts(airt filter, oil filter, turbo)... tell me guys does the 2003 model scorpio has an intercooler???. ... and what are the possible tunings that could be done to increase performance of my ride?? what is a RAM air intake, is it readily available and installable in th scorpio?? or can i install a K&n intake and FFE???
