Tad disappointed that the Bobber was unveiled as a concept. I was expecting a official product launch, may be am greedy. The road-test's indicated a plausible launch. Concept looks good but the color scheme not so much.

There is no good bobber unless to stretch the budget for an Indian Scout. RE has a potential to open a new market.

Oh my goodness, I'm totally in love with the new bobber concept unveiled yesterday at EICMA 2021 including the color schema. Same RE 650cc parallel twin engine but have to watch out for the power and torque figures when officially launced. Expecting more power as it is a bobber concept. Price can be little on higher side compared to RE twins, say around 3.8 to 4 lacs.
Bookings not yet launched, too early to expect now. However, one can book the RE 650 twins black edition specially launched in remembrance of 120 years of Anniversary celebrations by RE. Only 480 units are planned under this special edition so anyone looking for an Interceptor or Continental GT bike must rush to the nearest dealership or check out the MiY app.

So there's some hope of alloy wheels for Interceptor owners assuming Super Meteor & SG might continue the saga of 18" wheels. And hope RE doesn't disappoint us with 17" wheels on them!!

I dont think the 2 bikes in the last two posts are the same bike models. I am saying that after looking at the rider position. The first bike in pictures has the rider with with his foot slung forwards like a stereotype cruiser. 2nd bike riding position is more upright. look at the knee angle. I think it might be the classic 650 which was even spied earlier.

They are not the same bikes aasheeshmehta, you are right. The first one is a Cruiser and the second one is a Bobber, both with the 650cc engines. Venkatesh has mentioned it in both the posts.

Arent Royal Enfield's test riders tired of being photographed on these prototypes? This is like the 10th spy shot of the bike. Come on Royal Enfield, when is the 650 cruiser getting launched?

Or has Royal Enfield taken the customer / market criticism of not doing enough testing on some of their models (cough cough early Himalayans cough cough), to heart, and are they now doing too much testing?

impressive proportions.

The front looks really under tired for the bulky body. Even the rear could use wider tire.

Is there a date of launch? Looks quiet production ready.

This bike looks different from the pictures posted earlier in this thread. The front looks more like a Bullet, especially the mudguard and wheel. The front foot rests and not forward either.

Wonder if this is another bike altogether as the stance is not low like the Super Meteor.

Those hard case boxes are a recipe for disaster riding on our roads and in our traffic, even if put on only for highway touring.

The RTO should ban these just as many states have banned cycle and overhead racks.

They are simply extreme hazards both for the rider and the other public on the road.
