Re: Ford Fiesta : Test Drive & Review

Talked to sales head from Harpreet Ford. Formal launch and declaration of prices is on 14th July, 2011. Deliveries will commence by the following week.

The 20 odd cars parked in the Gurgaon Harpreet Ford premises are the ones used for road tests and media events. They are not for sale.

Not sure if "Morello" is the same as Figo's "Colorado Red"... but it might be similar.

Probably named after the morello cherry

Fiesta classic is available in Morello color. I think the same color is being offered in the NFS as well.

I am just trying to imagine how the squeeze green will look on NFS.

Morello <> Colorado Red.

This is morello,
2009 Ford Fiesta 1.6 ZXi - kiku007's Photo Gallery - Team-BHP

Purple/Jewel Diamond is discontinued in all models.

Morello isn't available in Figo.

Is Chill equivalent to the Platinum colour in the existing Fiesta?

Re: Ford Fiesta : Test Drive & Review

Morello is not like colorado red, it is a shade of purple like in fiesta classic, ford endeavour, ANHV purple fantasia and also somewhat like seldom seen purple Honda civic .
There is no red in NFS, they have got kinetic blue as the new sporty colour instead of red.

In fact, I have booked a Kinetic blue titanium plus diesel

There was a kinetic blue titanium model driven by some senior manager of Ford and parked at a showroom parking lot and I got to see it in flesh last sunday, start it , check electronic controls etc. as I have a friend in sales there who called me at 11 in the night to have a look at it and I did have a look and feel at 7 next day !

No. Chill metallic replaced Platinum in 2010. CM has a greenish tint to it. Check out images in Figo FB page.

No. I dont know features in Titanium plus, I saw Titanium and it had almost everything under the sun, wonderign what plus would be having , hoping they have an optional beige interior and leather uphostery option in this model, that would make my NFS a complete sports car

I booked this model as top models are usually first to be delivered in earlier lots , will finalise the exact variant on the day of Launch

This is some great news indeed - Thanks vb-san !

Btw, I called Saluja Ford in Chandigarh, and they confirmed the launching is on 10th. About variants and pricing, they said info would be available only after 10th. But Harpreet Ford, Motinagar, Delhi are still maintaining that the launching is on 15th July, and that there are going to be 4 variants each in petrol as well as diesel.

10th or 15th whatever, at least finally they are gonna launch it !

Re: Ford Fiesta : Test Drive & Review

Sea Grey and Kinetic Blue?
I thought the sea was blue; not really sure about the colour of kinetic though!
Perhaps they have even tried to 'indianise' the colours based on their view of the sea from somewhere in Mumbai!
