1) They are offering 5 year and 7 year (total) extended warranty by paying 10600Rs and 18600 Rs respectively.

2) They are also offering service pack as Renault-easy care, which needs me to pay 24000 Rs for 5 years/50 k where basic servicing is covered.
The extended warranty will be useful. I have made at least one warranty claim per year during my three and a half years of ownership.
The service package will save you a minimum of 5-6K if you plan to keep the vehicle for 5 years.

What are your first and second hand experiences, as far as Renault/its dealership are concerned.
I would suggest you to definitely get the extended warranty. It helps in the long run. This is based on a recent experience of one of my colleague who owns a Triber. His car is at the SC currently for engine replacement which is getting covered under extended warranty.

Re: Renault Triber : Official Review

Just updating!
Renault has revised its free warranty, as well as prices and kilo-meters covered under extended warranty for the vehicles sold this year.

I opted for 7 years extended warranty for my 2024 October triber and had to pay just more than 17000Rs.
Built quality seems to be on the lower side, so even if I may not keep the car after 5 years, opted for 7 years plan.

I am keen to take both of them. What are your first and second hand experiences, as far as Renault/its dealership are concerned.
Thanks in advance.
You can surely go for the Renault Easy Care option. I recently did my first paid service at 30000 km and I just had to pay Rs. 1600 as I opted for AC servicing. The rest of the consumables and fluids were all covered as part of the Easy Care. I did not face any major issue as such, so I won't be able to comment about the warranty cover though.

Re: Renault Triber : Official Review

Hi all,
Was curious to know the real world mileage of triber, as I’m getting relatively lower values. I’m getting 8-10 in mixed city usage, and 12-14 on highways with AC. What is your experience and mileage?
No oil has yet been changed as it has run close to 5000kms.
Althoug Renault recommends changing oil at 10k kms, is it wise to get it changed at 5k ?

Might improve over time. Mine's a 5 year old one with 50k kms on the ODO and I have never seen anything below 10kmpl in the city, even with 5 pax on board and peak Chennai traffic.

On the highways, we get anything between 15kmpl and 19kmpl depending on occupancy and speeds. Even managed 20kmpl with 2 people for over 500kms at 90-100kmph speeds. AC being kept on everytime.

And regarding the oil change, you can go for it, being the first time. But I would suggest sticking to the 10k kms/ 1 year mark from next time.

Re: Renault Triber : Official Review

Folks does anyone have any update on the Nissan version of Triber? Was mentioned in Autocar Indias podcast on MUVs released today.
