Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

I am facing a strange issue with my Z4 AT. The dipper lights (parking + instrument console lights) go ON-OFF after a few minutes of driving. However, I don't find any issue with keeping the HEAD or indicator ON.

What could be the reason? I have checked all the fuses. They are okay. Could this be a RELAY acting up?

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

Do we know if a facelift / update is expected for the ScorpioN in 2025 or 2026?
If anyone has any information, please do share.

I don't think so, Mahindra had silently upgraded it, added cooled seats and auto dimming irvms.

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

I'm facing a problem in my Scorpio N Z8L Petrol. When I turned on the front defogger the air didn't redirect towards the windshield, so I turned it off and tried it manually (changed the direction of air via the mode button), still the air kept blowing towards me. It's getting quite difficult for me to drive in the chilly and foggy nights of Chandigarh, what should I do?

And also I was just looking around and found that one wire coupler near the OBD port wasn't connected, I didn't know where to connect it, if anyone knows where it goes please let me know (pics attached).

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

A much better option to cover the 4x4 knob which someone had shared on the Scorpio N facebook group. Available on Amazon:

My DIY was even worse, and my puppy would knock it off. So one day I just threw it out of the car. I hope at last we’ve found what we’ve been looking for. Is this the product that is listed on Amazon
https://amzn.in/d/89xtIVh ?

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

This is how I have covered my 4xplore dial so that it does not engage in case someone touches it accidentally.

Here is the product link, in case anyone wants to purchase.

Obviously the blend door actuator is not working on your vehicle. I'm not sure if Mahindras have a DIY method to reset/re-calibrate the actuator like the germans, so the only thing you can try is to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and see if it solves the problem. Otherwise you'll have to visit the ASS to get it diagnosed.

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

Dear Team,
What is the approximate cost of the first service (1 year/10k kms) of Scorpio-N D MT. My vehicle is due for first service in couple of months. Thanks in Advance and apologies if this was already answered/discussed.

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

Hello Friends,

I have recently booked Z8 S P AT in Gurgaon.

As per the current offer, I can get 20K worth of accessories free of cost. Any suggestion on value for money items which I should get?

I am also getting some underbody coating complimentary from the dealer worth 5-6K.

Do you mean the 2nd service? It should be around 6.5k INR.

I did point out about this sound on every visit to the Service Advisor as well as the Mechanics at the MASS. They couldn't find anything wrong anywhere.
But, today it seems I have found the culprit. The sound seems to be coming from the front wheel arches due to the scrapping of the fender liner with the tyre. There are visible marks of damage on both the fender liners, which will have to be replaced. This problem can be attributed to the fact that fender liners are of felt material, which become heavy once they get wet and after accumulation of dirt. The clips meant to hold the fender liners are unable to do so and it results in hanging fender liners resulting in scraping of the same with the tyre.
Will keep posted of the outcome after the MASS Visit.
Attaching the pics of the damaged fender liners.
Got it replaced today.

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

My dad drives a Z4 Petrol Manual. We got the halogens replaced by LEDs from the showroom itself. Today my dad noticed a humming noise coming only when the headlights are on. The source is behind the left headlight somewhere. I will make a video and attach. Is this noise normal? It is imperceptible when the vehicle is in motion. Since the car is rarely driven after dusk, it has been noticed now. The car was bought in April 2024

That is the LED fan. LED's have cooling fans behind them. So either there is a wire rubbing the fan or the fan bearing is failing. Get it checked and replaced under warranty.
