Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review How is this update from Toyota to use only RON 95+ fuel for the Hycross impacting our forum members? While Toyota does call out that it is recommended, I am not sure if we need to start worrying if we do not find a bunk with the specific type of fuel say on a highway run.
Personally, I have never used these higher octane fuels and had to spend some time figuring out which petrol bunks have this available around the areas that I regularly visit and tank up.
Some part of me feels cheated to see this update after buying the car and having done a few tank fulls already. If I had this information before purchasing the car, would I have thought twice or changed my decision? Probably not! Will it burn a huge hole in my pocket which will make the running costs unaffordable? Probably not!
But then as the customer there is a feeling of being blind sided or being forced to comply with a particular requirement after the deal was done. It's more of helplessness, what other options do I have than to comply. Disappointing. |
