Yes sir, I agree with you. I also got this Amby restored in its Golden jubilee year. This 1966 car took One and half years for getting back to road.Tail lamps as well as Dashboard meter are mismatch as they belong to Mark 3 model. Two Mark II monograms are missing. I used one small steel in place of them. Although Original Head Light rims are with me but inner rings were hard to find. I changed the wheel rims as I got brand new radial tires with rims from scrapyard in very cheap rate. During restoration period two Mark II Ambassadors both in running condition were slaughtered in scrapyard. Their sacrifice gave led to procurement of many vital parts and accessories. One of them was purchased by some Bangla film maker for showing in their film. After the shooting they sold it in local scrapyard. When I saw the bumpers the number plate had two nos on reverse sides, one from erstwhile Bihar (BRN) and other from Bengal (WBJ)http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/images/smilies/eek.gif

Vijay, wow nicely done. Looks all correct except the radial tyres. Was no availability of cross ply tyres the reason to change to radial. And do you have more pictures to post.

Manish you are correct I should have preferred Cross Ply Tyre. But here money mattered. In price of two tyres I got five tyres, all in almost new condition. May be in future if I get brand new crossply tyres from scrapyard then I will purchase them. Till date the Fiat is lying idle in scrapyard. I thought you may have sent your local contacts to pick the oldy.
