The Minister of Cabinet Affairs of UAE and the Chairman of Dubai Holdings, H.E. Mohammed Al Gergawi, who reached Kochi, yesterday in connection with the Inauguration of "SmartCityKochi" opted to travel in an Ambassador Car being fascinated by it.

Spotted these Mark 3s within 10 ft of each other. One looked totally period, while the other was more 'bling' with alloy wheels and the kind.

This politician from Tamil Nadu drives the same old Ambassador , his father used when it comes to filing nomination papers for the Assembly elections. His father was politically a strongman of the area and this car Mr MRK Paneer Selvam believes, brings in Lady Luck to him too:

Please compare these dashboards. The Morris Oxford Series III has the option of a wind shield washer. The heater these came with have the demister and temperature controls below the clock.

They both have temperature gauges unlike their HM counterparts, which have only a red warning light.

AMBI-TIOUS a short documentary on the iconic Ambassador by Mr Deepanjan Sarkar , emerged as the 1st Runner- Up in the recent Short Film Festival in memory of Mr Satyajit Ray.

Mr Sandip Ray, son of Mr Satyajit Ray was one of the Judges.
