Thanks! Hope Aal goes well.

BTW, new Alto? I love that color. It looks very similar to the color "Nimbus" of Delight. This blue will look too good on a Delight!

Yes sir our latest acquisition. Its 13 days old today. It will play a vital role in the restoration work of my S1. I hope you understand what i meant to say. Hey just checked your profile and it seems we have same car models off course i am still short of a Padmini.
Its a new color on Alto named Blue blaze. One of the last additions before the BS4 conversion.

Hey Guys,

Good news for all and great news for me,

MER 3501 was brought by someone and taken to Mysore.I took a day off togo search back the car through my mechanic.
Peace of mind finally. The new owner has handed over the delivery receipt with a address in Kolar near Bangaore and supposedely will change it to a diesel engine and drive it.

My house feels okward with my fiat standing. So back in trach and now looking for an S1 ASAP.

My dear friends, please help me find one.

Regards
Selva

Bob Selva! I am sure many here will be happy that the car was not scrapped.

FCB will surely help you in finding another Fiat!

Feeling happy for the car. A great relief indeed. Seems S1 is very much in demand as any old model fiat. Why is it so.
BTW you people go to scrapyard by car. Is it safe to park the vehicles there.

Its like a dead man woke up from coffin and came to life. Feel so happy that the car did not get scrapped. Appreciate your efforts in tracking it Bob Selva!

Good luck for your S1 hunt

He he..
We go there at 6 30 in the morning.. All shops will be closed and only people over there are the ones who break cars. They know us and our cars very well.

I would like to cunningly interfere into this small conversation between Arun and Sagar. My daily drive is my S1 and two 118 NE's. Why do you guys drive Alto's? My Maruti 800 2003 MPFI model is more or less retired ever since my passionate cars entered my life. At times when I dont have my NE or Fiat, I prefer an auto over my 800.

Anyways pure pun intended here, no hard feelings!

Karthik, your daily drive totally is 6kms totally?!! No wonder dude!! It mainly depends on the conditions of our daily drive too.. Just office/movie and home, anybody can do that.
If you say you have gone to Goa in your Fiat, once my car is restored i plan to tour whole India with parents in 297.

First of all, I bought Alto for using daily for college, which was 16kms away from my house. So daily i used to drive 40+ kms! My Alto gives 16kmpl. I would be doomed if I use a Fiat for such distances considering the mileage and reliability.

And, yeah... My Fiat-297(dad's) is too very close to me. I just can't live without it. I want it to be A+ condition through out my life!

I will use my other Fiat 331, more regularly than my Dad's Fiat.
