Arun 1100 you have got the legend, very few cars can give you the feel of sheer power and comfort like a Fiat or PP can give you the one who owns it can tell. You must be a happy man with PP and 118 NE.

AirbusDriver your car is just immaculate it gives a feel as if just rolled down from the showroom/assembly line. Coooool how could you maintain is so prestine. You don't drive it right! you must be keeping it in a glass box he he Just kidding friend hats off to you man.

One sad news I got today and felt heart pounding. There used to be a 118 NE of a retired Army personal who also happens to be a uncle of my close friend and he always wanted to have that but couldn't dare to ask as it was his uncles darling. I also saw it inside the garage with scratchless condition trust me guys scratchless he used to park his new wagonR out on road but 118 NE inside a closed shady basement garage but now its no more it seems he gave it to someone for free.

Grrr my friends negligence in putting a word with his uncle it somewhere in Vijayawada it seems. Searching it to get it back no matter what it takes. wish me luck friends.

No. All 118 NE's came with floor gear with Nissan transmission. The transmission can make anyone fall in love with the NE.

It doesn't looks nice with those fat over sized tires. I think it is only 70% original. correct me if i am wrong.
BTW Arun bhai how is 331 running after the head job.
I recently visited the scrapyard and found a delight grill with FIAT logo for Rs. 250. As the shop was closed and the guy there was very choosy(as told by his nephew) i lost it. May be my second round of visit to scrapyard be accompanied by some luck so that i can get hold of one. Wish me luck for the next time as your wishes bless everyone being grill Arun.

70% Original??!!

Sad to say its just 20% original. Its having Maruti Omni engine.

Paint job is not to its level.

Regarding the grill, whats the reason you did not buy it? What do you mean by choosy?
FCB wishes you good luck to find a Nice Delight Grill with Fiat Monogram.

He hee my bad. I am not knowledgeable as you so reversed the %age. Atleast one Omni engine is breathing freely from the front.(being front mounted).

Regarding the grill, the scrapyard from where i buy the parts is divided into 2 parts. One is owned by old chacha and the other is owned by his nephews. They told me that chacha is very choosy about the buyer. He sells the parts only to the person he knows. he owns an old italian model fiat for which he wants 50K. Also one padmini and a fiat Uno is standing in his shop. Inquiring about the grill i noticed it hanging on the wall of the old gents compound. Was told that ( chachaa bahut tedhe aadmi hain. woh grill apne kisi jaanane wale ko hi bechagaa. Har gaadi ki keemat double vasool karte hain) Seems he is an old mental case.

Ram bhai topolino is different in design. It has long waterfall type bonnet and has headlights separated from the car's body i.e. they are not integrated in fender.

It truly is neighbours envy owners pride.
The car looks completely original except the rear wing mirror. Please change it if possible. Its not original, the original was smaller and different the mounting too was on the body not the door frame. Infact the non ac model had a folding version which was mounted on the inside panel of the door frame and would fold inside. Wing mirror like wipers were stolen those days
