Joy,

your car is great, my uncle had one in same shade too, sold long ago. Me and my cousin drove her like crazy. And to tune her up was a nightmare for me always

. I really have bad experience working on 118 NE.

Indeed,my hunch was right.I went and saw this Topolino on Rd No.12,banjara Hills, a month back just before i bought my Delight.

FIAT never called the car(500C) BugFiat or TOPOLINO.

Since small cars were the order of the day, FIAT started building really small 'Peoples' cars.The first of which was the FIAT 500A in 1937! It was so small people started calling in 'Topolino' which essentially means mouse/mickey mouse. Then in 1948 or 49 they changed the design a little and made it modern with a 570cc OHV engine called the 500C.

Please don't ask for pics of the cars as it's going through a very critical phase of it's restoration. PAVAN will post pics soon. I dont mind waiting 50 years at all. What a wonderful gift it would be for my 80th birthday

Whats the plan for this Sunday-FCB Anniversary Day? We go ahead with the proposed party plan on Sunday the 14th in Total Mall?

Aah one year of FCB!! All of us were strangers a year ago.. And now, we are the Fiatians of Bengaluru!!

Very shortly saar, but wondering how to fit this car into the club, Even if Joy gets both is Fiat 500's ready, he'll still fall short of 100cc to get into the Fiat 1100 club

I will get 100cc for you from Stephens Square.

We have named our Club as Fiat 1100 Club but is open for all Pre 1997 Fiats.

We had not imagined that B'lore would have so many rare Fiats when we formed the Club.

Hi Team,
With regret I inform you all that due to a major engine problem and Rust isuues and my inability to spend time and money on her, I had to part with my Beauty.There were no real buyers so I had to ask a scrap dealer to tow away my vehicle.

This vehicle had served us for close to 32 years and I learnt my drving with her. Indeed a very sad envoirnment sourrounds me.

My Padmini is no more.

Hoping to buy another one and get her to my expectations as my sunset beige, lost beauty.

RIP : MER 3501
