Speeding van could not control in time & scrubbed the wall instead of turning. Let me keep away from mentioning the causalities

Location: Bridge next to the junction where you take right turn (towards Thirunelveli) for Sankaran Kovil

I agree!! After going through more than 3 life threatening accidents i prefer to reach late to my destination rather than taking life threatening decisions.

BTW only 1 accident was because of my fault.

These days truck accidents has become major victim of this thread.

They don't realize the size of the vehicles they are driving and lead to such incidents!

More than that, the pressure from the business houses boils down to these heavy vehicle drivers compromising their sleep & spending more times on wheels to deliver the goods quickly. During a business transaction, supplier making false delivery commitment & pushing the drivers to reach the site at any cost i.e at the cost of some lives at highways.

Recently in one of our sites have seen a lorry driver sleeping in driver cabin though drenched with sweat under hot sun. Evening I had a chance to talk to him & came to know that he had not slept for the past 24 hrs or driving continuously till he reached our site (barring 5-10 mins nap during check posts). Definitely we are at the mercy of these people, have to be accounted under "LUCK" factor

Hello everyone, I stay in Bangalore and was riding around Fraxer Town thinking to myself when i'll see Maruti's new Ritz. You wont guess what happened a few minutes later! I was in front of the Frazer Town police station and saw a brand new battered Ritz parked in front of the station! I could't believe my eyes! My wish had come true but I definitely did not want it to be in such a way!

It was a maruti showroom piece because it had maruti stickers on it and was surrounded by employees of maruti (dressed in light blue). I could not take pictures. Did anyone else see the car?

Top end Swift. Conditions of the tyres were very worst and also uneven trye wear highlighting alignment problem

I guess that hook was came out from the tempo (as per the post) and the threat could be to any vehicle, sedan or SUV/MUV. We shouldnt generalize, accident can happen with any vehicle and it can get damaged with injuries to passengers. Best is how do we preempt and try to minimise the damage at the last moment.
