I suspect that cab drivers go slow when they have no passenger because they know full well that fuel consumption is less.

These guys are not driving for fun: they are driving to maximise earnings and also to meet the pressure from their employer

looks like something heavy fell on it and crushed it! see how the front and the back are not that damaged, but the center part is totally crushed (notice the wheels).

Looks like it. Seeing the "L" sign, it seems like a first car of the owner. What a tragedy for him!!!

Lots of trees and hoardings fell yesterday in storm here in Chandigarh yesterday.

Its definitely an accident, otherwise the car wont be at the police station.

i20 Crash - Total Loss

Here is a i20 accident picture. It has been posted by carwale user mehul_bh

It has been declared as Total loss

Quote:
I was travelling with my family on the expressway, was driving at about 100km/hr speed on the middle lane, suddenly a mini truck came and cut my lane sharply as he wanted to give way to another car, while trying to save myself and the car I took a left turn and dashed against the start of the tunnel wall. The car is in a very patehtic condition. But yes, i20 did prove its 5 star rating, it bore all the brunt of the crash and we escaped with minor injuries.

Speedo is still showing the speed of impact. i20 is a safe car, though the 5 star rating is for the EU version.

Looks like the i20 has lived up to its reputation.
Ouch! The U-VA accident seems real horrible.
Saw this accident involving an ikon and canter in Kumbaralli, Kolar, in today's Bangalore edition Eenadu telugu daily. 3 people killed.
RIP

Sorry for the bad quality pic.
The pic is laterally inverted, BTW.

People have being arguing that the i20 is one the safest, if not the safest car on Indian road. Well, here is a feather in its cap.

The speedo is stuck somewhere at 60-80 kmph. Glad everyone came out without any major injuries.
