50? I have seen 2-3 PSI above limit to improve mileage, but 50?

This is caught in my dashcam near the Toll Gate towards Ooty Road at Mysore.

The truck and Innova both wanted to go first and rest you can see for yourself.

Why can't people wait for few minutes ?

For what purpose? Improved mileage I am guessing?

But the ride would be harsh.

These are situations where one feels the urge to get down, drag the fools down from their driver seats and slap them silly. But yeah, not worth the trouble.

This happens not just at toll gates, but within the city as well. Where there are road works happening, the chaos created by people who try to squeeze in to the one open lane is ridiculous! Just 2 days ago, there was this mini truck trying to squeeze in to my lane before the median began, trying to overtake me by going in to oncoming traffic!

i20 Jumps the queue since he was smarter than others. But the E250 took care of him nicely. Kudos to him.

While the i20 driver was at fault, so were 10 other drivers in the opposite lane who too were acting smart in this small 2 lane road.

You're right. There are many smart people in this video

Road manners are slowly improving. However, there is a section of road users who will never even realize that they are doing it wrong.

These days it's quite common to see impatient drivers jump into the opposite lane the moment they get a chance. Usually, they end up collectively wasting the time of a lot of people!

Re: Bad Drivers - How do you spot 'em

KSRTC drivers are deft no doubt, but many a times take unnecessary risks. A sight along Hampi Chitradurga stretch - the truck had to really slam on the brakes to accommodate this impatient bus

I can't believe how foolish people can be. I seriously don't understand what they want to prove by performing such stupid stunts.

If your blood pressure doesn't raise that easily, see the other videos posted in his handle. He has posted videos of riding his bike at around 150 and 160 Kms speeds in civil roads.

Re: Bad Drivers - How do you spot 'em

Had to encounter this Auto-Rickshaw some time back. I stopped and dint honk, had my indicators ON as well. Around 5 people onboard the auto and still after his mistake, he gave me the stare of his life. No indicators, completely wrong lane, integrating onto a NH with absolutely no care for the vehicles already plying on it, nor the passengers onboard.

Sadly this is how people take right turn these days - go to the wrong lane, if you can cross the road well and good else continue driving on the wrong side. I am sure the rickshaw driver also would have continued driving on the wrong side. This style of driving/riding is catching up very fast in Bangalore.

Bangalore 2 wheeler riders are Unique. They've a distinct style and they mimic Nature. Yes they follow the rule of gravity aka WATER.

Never stop, find a way, sneak in to every possible gap etc., etc., If they hit another 2 wheeler, play goonda act and If it's a bigger vehicle like Cars, then play victim act or a poor man.

PS: I ride both 2 & 4 wheeler.

Re: Bad Drivers - How do you spot 'em

Same in Chandigarh. 2 Wheelers just love to squeeze and overtake from left. You could be indicating from a mile away but you will still have a 2 wheeled escort on your left when you are about to make the turn. The onus to save their legs is on 'rich /s' people.
