Where did you stay at Shimla & Manali and can you share your itinerary via DM if its ok with you. Am kind of confused as I am travelling with my extended family (senior citizens) so lots of planning needed.

My travel was before Covid. We first went to Manali for 4 nights, then Shimla for 2 nights.
Shimla to Manali is almost a full day travel in winding roads. So be prepared for that.

At Shimla, I spent time at the Mall both evenings. Visited Kufri and Viceregal palace. Stayed at a hotel at the end of Mall road.

At Manali, I stayed at the Sojourn homestay resort. Visited the usual spots.

I had taken a cab for the entire trip. Pickup from Chandigarh airport - Manali - Shimla - Drop at airport.

We, a group of 3 families (2 from Bangalore and 1 from Goa) are planning to catch up in May. We are planning for 3 days 2 nights stay and in a budget of around 7k. Looking for options which is a midpoint for all of us and also some play activity or pool to keep the kids engaged. Any suggestions, please?

Check out Denissons Hotel in Hubli. We had stayed there enroute Goa for a night in 2021. Nice property with a decent sized and well maintained swimming pool. Huge parking space within the premises

Good resort for 5k per night on a weekend is Mahabaleshwar would not be possible. Plus being summer holidays, most of the good places would be booked already. You might get a room in a free standing hotel/lodge type.

If 11-12k all inclusive ( Lunch-dinner & breakfast) is okay with you, try Hotel Prospect in Panchgani.

Do try Meghdoot in market for Lunch or dinner. You can also try Jaffer Bhai's or Rustom's for food.

• Rate: 1200 for Non-AC and 1500 for AC, extra mattress costs 200.
• Food: No Food Options sadly, please check besides the Temple

Trust me, this is one of the best accommodations you can stay in while you are in Tuljapur, and possibly the best at this price. I suggest you to go with AC room especially during summer considering the temperature in the area. Also, parking depends on your luck.

While I don't have the contact numbers of the math for booking, however, I have used https://resthouse.pwd.kerala.gov.in/ option to book a guest house very close (walkable) to the math. Well kept, clean, large rooms, however I could not get any AC rooms. Plenty of parking space available.

Appreciate suggestions for stay in or around the locality with good car parking facility (budget is flexible). I am intrigued by the KTDC Mascot property (I don't mind some old world charm) requirement is only for one night for a solo traveller

Check Windsor Rajadhani between Kowdiar and Ambalamukku junction, it should be pretty close by. I haven't stayed there but travel quite frequntly on that road.
