Accomodation in Ganpatipule

Hi All,

Been to Ganpatipule in last week of March. Stayed for first night at Hotel Shree Sagar. Hotel room was absolutely pathetic for the amount they charged, Rs.1650 for A/c 4 adults. Toilets are stinking and water in taps have smell of rusted iron.

Next night we shifted to Atithi Lodge for Rs.550(Non A/c) Only!! Had better room than Shree Sagar. In Ganpatipule, nothing can match MTDC resort, its the best one.
Telephone numbers of most of the hotels can be found in HolidayIQ website.

As some of you know I am planning a visit to Shirdi.
I am planning on staying at Shraddha Inn, part of the Sarovar Chain.
Has anyone stayed at this hotel (Or even any other Sarovar Hotel)? Is it recommended?

cheers

Please suggest a good Budget Hotel (Within Rs.1000 for Double Bed AC) at Pondicherry. Will be visiting Pondicherry for a couple of days for a friends wedding. Preferrably near Beach Road with close proximity to good restaurants.

Donahalli Village

Very good home stay. Feel like home out of my own home. Completely safe for family.

Rates varies from 1500-2000 with Food. Very nice Veg-Malnad Style food.

I manged to find a place last week, it's called Orchid Suites - behind Spring Fields off Sarjapur road (on Harlur road). The tariff was 2.5k for a one bedroom studio apartment (Kitchenette included) with Complimentary Breakfast. Worth a check if you are looking for accommodation around this area.

As far as I can say, it is safe & works fine. ALL my travel (family included) tickets etc are booked through cleartrip.

However, as with any internet based transactions be careful if you are using public computers/cyber cafe's

Cheers,

More details in my thread http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/travel...d-wayanad.html
