At gavi the only option you have is the forest guest house which u need to book in advance. For vagamon i would recommend vagamon heights and you can ask for woodside cottages. But they serve only kerala style food only.

Planning a trip with parents this month.
It costs more due to the location and don't expect a 5 star experience there even though they charge you that much.

re: A thread on Accommodation & Rates

Hello I have yet another query for Mumbai. I am scheduled to be in Mumbai from 25th - 27th May and am staying at Hotel Ibis, Ville Parle. However the problem is that the hotel's check in time is 2 pm and my flight arrives at 2 am. I have 12 hours before I can check in at my hotel.

I need something between Sahar-Ville Parle which wouldn't cost much since I would be changing hotels in a few hours anyway. I would be arriving via the international terminal.

Can anyone suggest a clean air conditioned hotel for maximum of 2 k for 12 hours?

You could go stay at Hotel Ramakrishna in Parle East. Its a neat, decent clean place.http://www.rkhotels.com/mumbai.html and its bang on station road and is hardly 5 mins from Ibis.Next day morning after some lovely Udipi breakfast, you take a rick to Ibis.

I see that Karur is another option. Any good places to stay at near the NH near Karur?
Guys, I finally ended up at Karur and stayed at Hotel Hemala. I was really surprised by the quality of the hotel, the stay and service. Impressed. I even wrote up my review on Tripadvisor - http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...amil_Nadu.html

Wish I could, but no time or plan on this trip Just plan to attend a function there and return. Also, most likely will not be driving!

I stayed at Hotel Arcadia couple of times. Its next to KSRTC and will be under your budget.

Edit: You may try Pearl Regency on Changanacherry route as well.

Anjali Park is a budget hotel with clean rooms but they have a local bar.

I have some contacts in Pearl. Please PM me if you need any support.

re: A thread on Accommodation & Rates

Planning to travel to Trivandrum in 1st week of July and I am looking for homestay options as we are 2 families with couple of 3 year old kids, so we would prefer a place where we will have cooking options or at least homely food supply. Any leads would be of great help.

Hotel Fairmont(Indraprastha) on MC Road is the best by far.Icon Classic is also good right at Josco Junction-new and good.

Within your budget you can try either Hotel Arcadia or Hotel Aida. Fairmont maybe a bit more expensive.

Swagath De Royal http://www.swagathderoyal.in/

Swagath Residency http://www.swagathresidency.com/index.php/contact-us1

Both the Swagaths are at Kothaguda X ROads,Kondapur and are good options for the mentioned budget.

Good accommodation needed near Mulshi lake

Please recommend a good resort/accommodation near Mulshi lake. Want to spend 1-2 nights along with family in July. Enquired with Malhar Machi but its not available for the 1st weekend of July.
1 thing I observed with accommodations near Mulshi is that most of them are Veg only. Would prefer non-veg option.

Re: Good accommodation needed near Mulshi lake

Check for Green gate resort. I stayed there last August for two days. Although it's not comparable to Malhar Machine but it's descent. You can check the review on TripAdvisor for this. I have also written a review for this hotel in Tripadvisor.In.

Disclaimer : I have no personal marketing interest for Green gate resort as well as TripAdvisor.

Mods : Hope suggesting another site for review for specific locating is within Team-BHP rules and guidelines.
