Ho god, how did I miss this thread?

I am a legal parent for my lovely babies the Boxers, Great Danethe, St.Bernard and the Neopolitan mastiff.

My younger brother takes care of St.Bernard and the Neopolitan mastiff they won the best of breed in puppy category last year in KCI competition which was held in Bangalore they are grown up now and they look like cute teddy bears.

NOTE: I AM NOT A BREEDER, I LOVE DOGS and MOST OF MY FAMILY MEMBER ALSO LOVES DOGS.

I totally have 5 dogs, they don’t have breathing issue. We need to keep a close watch when they are sniffing, if they sniff some dust they act as if they are chocked.

Boxers are really lovely; they are link small kids in house. They are always filled with energy, and if there are real kid’s in house or elderly people they will get attached to them very much.

Hi, can you post a latest photo of your Neo Mastiff? I have a 11 month old Honey coloured male. He is superb, and He Does Snore Crazy! even in the day when he's sleeping or taking a nap.

Hi,

Nice thread. I have two labrador retrievers. Mother and daughter.

These creatures make our days. Having a pet is definitely eases your facial muscle and keeps you happy.

Breed is not important, but pet is.

I am enjoying the company of these creatures.

Warm regards,
Dwarak

Have seen couple of rottweilers and have a feeling that they are not watchful as a doberman. They were ferocious and can take the life out of you, but not so sensitive to catch clever intruders

But the huge looks will keep one at bay.

For Rajapalayam's it requires bit of moving space as these dogs were usually kept in large farms to chase away cows/goats/pigs etc

My Best Buddy = LEO

Hi All,

This buddy of mine always makes me smile. If the day has been bad, just looking at his smiling face makes my day perfect and forget everything else.

Some tricks which are hilarious to watch are:

1. Handshake is common, Giving a shake with both the hands

2. Removing my socks when I feel lazy. < He was playing with the socks all the while, thght this will be a good trick, when feeling lazy>

3. Catch a rat < Caught 7 rats till date>

Love him very much . When scolded , his ears go back <as with all dogs> but that's when he looks cute with a sad face.

Hey guys. As promised my saint Bernard pup pics are posted. Her name is TEQUILA and she is 46 days old as of today. The first and third pic were taken when she was 29 days old. Vinay can you please tell me what are you feeding your St Bernard when he was a pup.

@Torque123: now we are feeding Eukanuba one time a day and then he will have 2 eggs and then some quantity of the rice. Morning they will be fed with bread and egg.

For your puppy start with baby human food and then later start with the Royal Canin puppy food ( you will get special one for St. Bernard) then you can give them ragi malt and even you can prepare sprouted cereals malt and feed with egg. Please do not forget to feed with fresh water.

Thanks for your reply Vinay. I am feeding her Eukanuba Toy breed puppy food with ragi, rice, wheat malt and 4 full spoons of Cerelac 4 times a day. Egg is also added for 2 meals. I am giving her toy breed puppy dry food as she is too young (47 days old) and was advised so by the vet. Once she is 2 or 2 and a half months old i am planning to give her minced beef with ragi, rice, wheat mixed malt for one meal. And Egg with rice and bread for other 2 meals.

Are you giving any calcium, vitamin supplements? From what age can i start giving these to the puppies? I dont want her to put on too much of weight when she is young as it will effect her bone structure as these huge breeds are prone to hip dysplasia.

Also do you know any good dog trainer in Bangalore. I want her to start getting trained once she is 4 or 5 months old.

Love the squirrel

I knew somebody who disturbed a nest when servicing an AC; he recued a baby and took it home. It stayed with them for several months, then decided to be wild again.

In my old house they nested between the wooden shutters and the netlon, but they were not at all tame, very shy in fact. We could atch them through the netlon, though.
