Exert now Golds' at Worli. Have been going there for the past 5 years (leaving last year)

I doubt Bachelor's would be open at 5.30am
and when i start exercising, the first thing i do is go completely off sweets of any kind. You cant imagine the difference it makes!!
While we are taking about Chowpatty, did you try the Special Kesar Lassi at Rajasthan opp Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan. Its a must have

Hmm gold's gym worli, know a lot of people who go to that gym! anyways will try the Rajasthan ka Lassi.

Since we are talkin about chowpatty, i think that was the 1st place to have Anando!! , which i think is still famous for its masala milk. But now they have small counters opened at a lot of places like malls and food courts. Simply love that too.

Paans??? any favourites. My favourites are Muchad at Kemp Corner for his Paan big jumbo meetha paan, and bablu's double Meaning shayaris LOLS. Good paan opp Wilson College called as Prakash for its makhai (2 smalls pans in a small box like packet served cold). Paans at chowpatty were once upon a time very good, but have'nt had there since ages. Paan outside chopsticks too looks good with the big cherry. I dont like Banarasi and Bholas and all kinds of suparisss and kathhaaass .

What next?

Eating Out

Friends. try out Pancham Puri Wala beside the GPO at VT. He makes beautiful puri's with Aloo Bhaji (if any sindhis on the forum they will understand what i mean). Even he makes puris in different shapes.

Talking about ice-creams: ICE STONE FACTORY.nothing beats it, although way costly to be eaten daily but the branch at Opera House is the best.

did anyone mention Misal Pav at Bhatt's in Chembur and Panvel. Not to be missed

The Kulfi at the New Kulfi Centre at Opera House/Marine Drive

OK, now for the veggies. Try out srinathji's under the Lower Parel flyover. A small restaurant, seats 15-20 people but they make one of the best veg food available in town without the use of onions. They also make Eggless Pastries which are more softer than the egg ones and have more than a dozen varieties.

How did we miss out Namak at Sahara Star. Delicious Indian Food.

There's a restaurant (forgot the name:staying out of the country for the last 3 months forgot many indian names) its opposite to the Toyota showroom in Malad on the 4th/8th floor. The theme is based on a Rainforest. they have bamboo bridges, small rivulets and stuff. Again awesome tasting food.

Pav Bhaji: Sardar PavBhaji at Tardeo. How can we forget it. Tons of Maska on both the pav and the Bhaji.

Has anyone tried the Dosa Plaza's almost in all the malls. They are originally from Kolkata and have most of their Dosa's trademarked like the American Chopseuy Dosa, Russian Salad Dosa, Paneer Chilly Dosa, Szechewan Dosa and the list goes on.

Mods Note: Do not post messages in succession. Compose your thoughts and then post at one go.

No Navin I did not forget these. I simply omitted these as these were the really hot favourites but of coure as you said, deserve a mention. I did mention Mocha and Gallops but Gallops is at Worli na? Where at Churchgate is Gallops?
Badhshah ka Royal Falooda....Yummmm (and with double scoop of icecream,..double yummm!)
The more than 100 year old Jalebiwala at Zaveri Bazar where he still dishes out thin and crisp jalebis made in Desi Ghee and gives them to you in a cane basket aka Tokri.
The Coffee Shop at the shopping centre at The Grand Hyatt is a great place to indulge in your sweet dentures.
One gets the best looking and tasting desserts there. Though not a chocolate fan, i still order the huuuuge brownie there coz its presented so well and never end up finishing it. Its moist, gooey and delicious. wash it down with a glass of cold coffee. Perfect.
, coz we are talking desserts, while at the Grand Hyatt go to their Italian restaurant at the lobby level and order the best pizza in India. The pizza to have is the thin crust pizza with only rocket leaves and parma ham. No tomatoes and no nothing. When I ordered it first, they thought i was mad...a pizza without a tomato base?? Today they proudly recommend it. I think i might have started a trend. but in Italy it is not uncommon to have a pizza without tomato sauce dribbling over it making it soggy. Try this you guys will go nuts. Its light and delicious. For the veggies, simply substitute the Parma ham with Goat's cheese or Mushrooms or roasted Bell peppers.

Returning back to desserts and sweet stuff..
Mishti Doi from Sweet Bengal is great
add on please.....

Gogi, you do have quite an appetite. The last time I was there it took 4 of us to finish that brownie (my wife, her father, my son and me).
