RIP Santhosh aka Steeroid

All I have to remember you now is the lovely New Year eve with Drums of Dubai in the desert and other long and enjoyable drives we had in the deserts of Dubai. Your passion for all things mechanical was really unmatched and is unmatchable.

You were the one who egged me on to get my Bonneville and rode by my side on the back roads of UAE so that I can get in to rythem of the higher speed bikes and introduced me to some great biking groups in Dubai.

Above all your willingness to help your friends, is what really distingushed you from scores of other friends.

Shall remember you my friend.

Pray to the All Mighty to give strength and courage to Rashmi and Varun, to bear with this.

Really saddened to read about his demise.

The first time I met Steeroid was at the first Kerala meet in Cochin. Those were early days of team-bhp and I remember him driving to the meet in the first Safari dicor to be delivered in Cochin (probably the first in Kerala). We met up couple of times after that, for various team-bhp meets until I moved to Manipal for my higher studies.

Though we were never friends, I just can't get to terms with this tragedy. May his soul rest in peace. Heartfelt condolences to the grieving family.

Never interacted with him in person nor on the forums. But his trademark, straightforward and carefully worded posts shall definitely be missed.

May the Almighty give strength to the bereaving members.

I remember our dear Steeroid from as early as 2006 I believe when he had a great contribution in way of owning a Tata Safari EX 4x4 3.0 DiCOR. I just got out of my high school and fell in love with the impressive beast called Tata Safari because of him! In fact, you shouldn't be surprised if I told you that it was through his post that I actually got to know about this phenomena that we all fondly know as Team-BHP.

I never got to know him personally but I'm sure he was always a great influencer for enthusiasts all over India to sit up and take notice about the family of Team-BHP.

A great loss for Team-BHP. Steeroid saheb, you will be sorely missed Boss. May his soul rest in peace.

Shocked and saddened. I've met him quite a few times and always enjoyed my time with him. Loved his cars and contributed a lot to this community. He will be missed.

I remember always being drawn to his ingenious tbhp handle and the posts that were beneath them.

Terrible news- gone too soon. RIP Steeroid.

Steeroid's eloquent and passionate posts will be long remembered. The only time I met him was at Sam's memorial service in Mumbai. This is a huge loss to the forum and his family & friends. May they find the strength to recover from this loss.
