R.I.P. Steeroid (Santhosh Gopalan)

Oh! Can't believe a person so full of life and enthu is no more. RIP Steeroid.

Met him way back in 2007 in one of Rallies and we had lots of fun talking in Malayalam. We got along fine, remember him as a friendly, warm person.

Wishing his family strength to overcome this shock!

Was shocking to hear of Santhosh's demise. Extremely passionate about cars and a wonderful human being. It was fun having conversations with him the few times we met. His posts used to be very informative and to the point. He will be missed.

Sad news and also shocking to know that Steeroid is no more. I remember him the best for his threads:-

I had interacted with him and he was very regular with his posts at that point of time. He was restoring his recently bought Landmaster and that interested me a lot. I gained valuable insights and appreciated his in depth, objective understanding of the project in hand and his deep knowledge.

Teambhp will miss Mr Santhosh Gopalan alias Steeroid !

Santhosh (Steeroid) was one of those rare people who touched the lives of everyone who interacted with him. He wasn’t just an expert of the automobile scene, but a legend in his industry as well. We had just got back from Germany and were planning to bike it from Bangalore to Goa in the August 15th week.

A light went out in the world, for he had a big heart and an absolute love for adventure. Till we meet again mate.

Rest in peace Santosh. You have great company up there. Too shocked to react. I used to be called first lady of team bhp by him. And i used to love it. Met him twice i think but both meets will be etched in my memory forever. You have gone too soon. May God give strength to his family to cope up with this loss. Om Shanti.
