This may sound odd, but during winters I often work from inside the car - due to the greenhouse effect. It feels warm and cosy inside the car.

I never had the opportunity to work from home due to the nature of my work. Now, this COVID thing has meant that I have to work from home for sometime everyday. And to do that, just did some jugaad and voila.. my workspace.

Placed the laptop on the table on the bed besides two of my smaller tanks. The upper one is a terrarium with two little waterfalls. The constant sound of trickling water is definitely calming.
BTW, the table is a DIY jugaad.



And this is the view I get on my left with the greenery of the yard. Couple of berry trees mean that lots of different birds are constantly moving around making noise and giving company to the squirrels racing about over the railings. Oh and not to forget a pair of very loud koels calling out constantly throughout the day. Sigh, only if I could make them shut up when I'm on one of those damn concalls.

Part of the gig economy, sir - a laptop and a good internet connection is what I need. Not having to report to an office enables me to work from places- such as inside my parked car in winters.

There is an Acer Nitro laptop hidden in the pull out tray of the desk, that is hooked up to the monitor. The laptop on the right is the office one. I use my personal laptop to connect via VPN to a Virtual machine at work and the office laptop for email, calls and messages.

Since my work involves taking a lot of evening meetings with the global team, I have setup a home office. This is to ensure I do not carry work to family spaces ( bedroom, living room etc). I am also a big advocate of ergonomics and coach my team on this, understand clearly on the long term issues created by non-ergo setup. (Docking station for laptop, External monitor/Keyboard, standing desk etc)
This setup is helping well in the current lockdown scenario.
Got a workout space overlooking office (extra motivation for workouts) :-).

This is exactly what my lecturer used to do in his fiat 1100. He used to say that this is far better than sitting inside the staff room to evaluate test papers. I am talking like mid 90s.

Here is my simple workplace and large window beside my work place brings in a lot of natural light. My work involves me to wfh always, so this lockdown only makes me staying home even over the weekends.

That's a beautiful office space and a very nice computer setup, but I have one doubt. Are your elbows at right angles while using the keyboard and mouse when you are sitting and working?
