Yes I had purchased some machine parts through Alibaba. The item was good and nicely packed when I received. The only hitch was the time it took to reach from the landing port to me.The customs and other players made it reach me in 25 days !.

Thanks, what was the approximate value of the merchandise and did you pay any duty, I was looking for a lampshade and other related items which are slightly fragile. Hence a little sceptical

It was a small item costing around 6 dollars, inclusive of shipping.I think the duty side is taken care by the seller. I didnt pay anything extra. Don't know if they have shipped it as gift item . I paid for it through card. There is no issue with Alibaba as they serve to people around the world. I would suggest you to go ahead.

No, the noise of the air-gun is not much.
But crows are smart, when you try to aim for them they fly off.
They know that they are being targeted even when you point a (empty) gun at them.

What I think is that they somehow communicate between themselves, say like 'there is this bad guy who will kill us' and they keep away

I have used 24 seven. It's good, fast, cheap. Only thing is, they update their stuff maybe once a year.
Dx is also a close your eyes and order. No issues at all, except for the time it takes

Any recent Team feedback on Greendust?

I was wanting a bargain laptop, but the internet seems rather negative about them.

Not a recent one Nick, but I bought a refurbished Philips boom box from Greendust and have had no issues in the past one year.

Jeeves Network . Have anyone tried this out

While browsing through snapdeal for some purchases, happened to see that they have some installation at home services for audio products which are done through this company called Jeeves (http://www.jeeves.co.in/index.aspx) . Was wondering whether anyone had ever availed their services ?

Thanks for that. Did you buy online or at one of their stores?

It's a lot of money, even if there is a big discount, to risk

Re: The "Online Shopping" Thread - Amazon's service is good

Considering the vast majority of offline retailers refuse to entertain product returns, this is a really useful facility offered.

Meanwhile, Flipkart has started accepting "Card on Delivery" for COD orders as well. Fantastic!

Amazon is good with their delivery. I ordered a 16 GB Pen Drive and a book by Jim Corbett and both were delivered much before the official delivery date. The packages were neatly packed and Amazon kept us updated regularly through text messages the progress of the consignments.

( PS : Were the shoes you ordered Slagenger Envira ( http://www.amazon.in/Slazenger-Women...ords=slazenger ) by any chance? Have been looking for their review online but can't seem to find any. If these were indeed the ones you bought, can I ask how have the shoes been behaving?)

Cheers !
