The other day, I enjoyed soft and tasty khali dose at Adithya Veg opposite Jayanagar Police Station.

Dined at EurAsia at 32nd Cross, 7th Block, Jayanagar. The Italian vegetarian dishes were good. But, at the end, I ordered Gelato Attlantide that was supposed to have nuts apart from strawberry ice-cream. But, I did not find any traces of any nut. When asked about it, I was served with crushed nuts in a bowl! This goof-up spoiled the otherwise nice dinner.

had dinner at Tijouri , Atria hotel, nice ambience , very good tandoor food and real vfm, for panner tikka, 2 shorbas , 2 drinks, butter chicken Dal makhani 6 Parathas 1500

I am a fan of Atria for its breakfast spread.Have stayed in this place numerous times and used to enjoy the breakfast spread to the core.

BTW-Any review on this place called Sovay Coast, next to Adigas, BDA Indiranagar.

Could "Fish n chips" be had anywhere in Bangalore?

Koshy's used to make the best Fish n Chips, but the last time I had it, I was quite disappointed. You should try the Fish n Chips at The Only Place. It's exquisite. :)

If anyone likes Continental grub please try Rogue Elephant - it is located in Koramangala.
Going from Sony World, continue straight along towards the Regional Passport Office and after you pass the SKS Auto Mahindra Showroom and Dominos on the right side and , you will come across the Devi Eye Hospital turn off to your left. Take that and go along for about 500 yards and you will see Rogue Elephant on your left.
Excellent food, great ambience, good service - perfect for a lazy Sat/Sun afternoon.
Try their Herb Roast Chicken and wash it down with a Sangria - truly excellent!

excellent food , great service and good ambiance only let down is the lack of alcoholic beverages in the menu .And choices in food are limited , not too many options.
I love their desserts .

Thanks! Tried this place out today on the way back home. Popped in to have their FnC. Good stuff. They use Seer fish. Wonder how different the Cod or Haddock would taste, the way the Pommies make 'em.

clap:

Hope he makes his way back into the playing 11 soon. It's going to be hard with Kohli and Sharma around.

The Only Place is one of my favourite places. You get an incredible dish there, called 'Cheesy Fries'. It's basically french-fries with melted mozzarella and cheddar cheese all over it! Oh my mouth's watering now! :P

+1 to that. They have perfected the art of making steak. My personal record there is a steak, a chicken something and a plate of fish & chips devoured in one sitting. Yeah, I tend to overeat a little.
On the other hand, one of my favorite places, Koshys, really seems to have deteriorated. Anybody been there of late?
Casa picola on Cunningham Rd. used to be really good until they closed a few years back. Now there is a place called 'Casa Raviera' in the same building. I went there once. Nothing to write home about, really.

Koshys is sad now. I used to love the place. But the last time I'd been there (a few months ago) I'd ordered a plate of Fish n Chips, and it was cold, not well cooked and the portion was much smaller than I'd expected. To top it off, It came to our table 45 minutes after ordering it. Much after everything else that had been ordered after!
