A bit of a noob question but currently, do we need to mandatorily do web check-in for international flights to gain entry into KIAL?

Or is this rule only for domestic flights, i.e. for international I can still show my e-ticket or printout to get into the terminal?

?

I recently traveled the BLR-DOH-SEA route didn’t do the web check-in and just showed the e-ticket without any printouts. Don’t think it’s a mandate to do the web check-in.

web check-in wasn't working. I went three hours early

Need to drop off my mother for an international flight from T1. Where is the current parking located for T1 departures?

Best option is to drop them at curbside and a further ahead after you turn right, you will find the parking space, but this is a smaller one and is a long walk back to the terminal. There is a valet parking service as well, I have seen the boards but haven't used them.

Have the international flights been assigned to any one terminal? Or they are using both?

Secondly, are the lounges in T2 operational?

Asking as I have to spend about 4 hours before my international flight.

As of now, only domestic flights from carries Air Asia, Star Air and Vistara operate out of T2.
There are 2 lounges in T2- BLR domestic lounge which accepts most common lounge access cards, and 080 lounge which is exclusive to club vistara gold members. The BLR lounge is a very small one and can get pretty crowded during peak hours.

AFAIK 080 AND BLR are in old terminal,T1. Are they also present in new terminal which I presume is called T2.

Just flew out from T2 today evening.
I can confirm 080 lounge is operative at T2.

Yes, I am talking about Terminal 2, the new Terminal. Had flown out from there in an Air Asia flight a month ago.

They're only accepting premium credit cards like AMEX

Would you know if the 080 Lounge at T2 accept Infinia or Priority pass?

No, because even the lady there would only check against a card reader. Its all pretty new, even for staff

Priority pass is accepted but it is chargeable in the domestic lounge. In the case of Amex also, only the premium cards get free access to 080. But it costs less to swipe the normal Amex card than use the Priority pass.
