Hi folks
Anyone travelled through the T2 international departures recently?
Looks like post security/immigration, there are hardly any food options, and the 080 isn't yet accepting card programs. Any information will be helpful in planning - esp with kids travelling, so need to think forward about food !!
TIA

Traveled in mid September. Yes, food options are fairly limited. The ones that are there also have limited seating. Main ones are Irish Pub, A pizza place and then 2-3 cafe/ snack type places. I would suggest finishing a proper meal before getting to the gate area. Don't fully rely on the options at the departure area.

I did travel very recently. While terminal looks good, more like Changi, Singapore, food options are very limited. Several places were not accepting AMEX card as well.
I felt T1 was more functional easy to navigate.

If you need a proper meal at the airport, eating at the T1 Boulevard then hopping the shuttle to T2 is still the best bet.

We travelled past in Mid-Sep. Ate lightly at Jamie’s Pizza. Great quality. We anyway like Jamie’s overall. Eaten at his Italian and his Pizza places many times abroad.
Wolfgang Puck and I think Carluccio’s is also likely opening in T2. And of course there is Starbucks.
While these are great International options when all of these open, Im not sure that T2 is able to cater yet to everyone’s food preferences.
Bengaluru airport secures top position as 'world's most punctual airport' for past 3 months.

What's the options for a person who arrives at T2, around 3AM sunday early morning, to reach city?
Is Uber rides available close to T2 exits, as it was at T1?
How about the BMTC bus services, would they stop at T2 before heading into city?

Same as T1, there's a bay just outside arrival gates for Uber, Ola and other taxi options. We caught an Uber at 1.00am on a weekend and it was chocked up as if during peak hours.
No idea on buses but we did see a bay for buses so there should be options.

Yes to both.
For radio taxis, walk out of the Arrival gates, keep going straight and then a left. Very well signposted.
For Vayu Vajra, walk out and turn right to the Reserved pick-up point area. Little unsure if ALL BMTC services come to T2, but you can always hop onto the free inter-terminal shuttle, and reach T1.
Now, all the Vayu Vajra buses depart from a large underground bus bay at T2 (instead of outside T1 as earlier).
The buses now come to halt at the old location at T1 for the conductors & drivers to take a break. The buses then leave with blank sign boards to T2, and then they start from there.
From T1, you have to take the shuttle to T2, or you can get on the bus going to T2 from T1 (ones with the blank sign boards) for free, and then switch to which ever bus route that you want.
Else, you have to chase after the buses & staff at T1 trying to figure out as to which is your bus, which can be quite tiring & irritating (when all you want to do is to get home).

080 is accepting cards.
Is there any multi level car parking in KIAL? Asking to see if I can protect car from sun/dust when parking for a few days

T2 has basement parking. You can protect the car from the sun but not from dust, but should be better than the T1 open parking space.
