Re: The "Jobs available in my organisation" thread

Hi All, we do have openings for software developers Java, Bigdata skills ideal candidates should be hands on and have 6-10 years of experience.

These are in a Top MNC company located in NY, I am looking to hire around 5 candidates in Hyderabad and Chennai offices. Remote working in India can also be considered if the candidate is good.

If you know anyone in that experience level looking for a long tenure career that will be great help.

Please PM me for any further questions.

Thanks in advance

Re: The "Jobs available in my organisation" thread

Not sure if this is the right place to post this query, one of my in-laws has just passed out from college (B.com) and a looking for data science-based jobs. Any advice on what course will be helpful? Online or offline? Also any job vacancy in your company too is welcome.

Thanks.

Kaggle has lot of bigdata challenges posted but before that the individual can initially do some basic tutorials and exercises in sites like coursera, udemy, datacamp etc.

Remember solving real-world problems is very tough to crack and have seen lot of them fail to deliver expectations (myself included).

From what I have heard:
a fair place to work at. Lot of resources available on hand. But at the end of the day, it's the manager & the team one will be a part of. Make sure to get the desired salary or close to it at the time of joining itself - just in case hikes later are not to your satisfaction. Unless the role involves travelling, not to expect travel anywhere. Shift assigned will be the same for 18-24 months. So if you cant do a particular shift, then watch out.

Like any other large & good company - is the summary.

Job security/layoffs - not an issue. It's a large organization.

In any organization it's the last row that needs to watch out - performance, attitude issues.

And todays situation - all organizations have faced attrition, and hence organization is looking for people. IMO, a good time to change jobs because this situation of higher salaries will settle down in a bit. (in my current organization, we are talking to other large organizations and hence this last point).

I think you can go for it. Not to worry about the company. All the best.

Re: The "Jobs available in my organisation" thread

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for a position of a clinical lab/blood banking expert based in and around Pune. With the military background and a diploma in management, I will be happier if I get a job not directly linked with my core field but consonant with my added skills, experience, values and passion which apart from the obvious one being a BHPian, is tackling operational challenges.
Confused. No problems. It happens with me all the time when I talk this way.

regards
