Hi,

Really unhappy and paranoid having got laid off from Unacademy on the 18th of June, 2022.

It came as a shock without any prior intimation whatsoever. I have lost all sleep and calm after looking at the lack of responses I am getting from companies.

I have a ton of experience over 5+ years as a B2C Sales Leader and am well versed with Sales Operations, Sales Strategy and Planning.

Thw worst possible thing - Unacademy releases an article saying that it wasn't a lay off but termination of employment under PIP.
I have the recordings of the whole Exit Interview/Meet + Termination Mail where it is clearly mentioned that the role is redundant and reason is cost cutting.

However, TAs of various companies have refused to take my application further and I am lost.

Any help will be gladly appreciated.

Whatever you do, dont post it on YouTube under your name, use some kind of alias if you really are pissed off. Indian employers are a useless bunch and dont value people at all.

Had purchased a phone from flipkart couple of weeks back, which came with byju's app installed, and I made the mistake of clicking yes while setting up the device. Got nearly 20 calls (even after politely saying not interested) over 4 days from byjus asking me to register for some classes/demo. From 5th day when calls continued, connected the call and played a recording of breathing techniques. No further calls post that.

Hi all,

I'll make it short.
Looking out for better opportunities and greener pastures.

Currently working with a Big 4 firm as an SAP C/4HAHA (Commerce/Hybris) Business Analyst. I do enjoy being a BA.
Have a successful delivery of a challenging project in disastrous circumstances (entire team quit) and a promotion under my belt in the 16 months of being an SAP BA.
Comfortable in client-facing roles. Have provided pre-sales product demos along with SAP folks to a lot of prospective clients as well.

Not afraid of switching locations (except Delhi and US) and not afraid of travelling.

Previously have handled a pan-India network of 500+ ATMs for a known small finance bank (14 months).

B.Tech and PGDM (2016 and 2019 respectively).

Reasons for wanting to switch: Extremely poor remuneration. My batchmates are earning 3x to 4x of what I make.
Also, unfair treatment by the management as my entire team had quit the firm (even my manager) right before the UATs.
I ensured delivery (handled managerial tasks as well). Let's just say that someone else got a lot credit.
When I asked for fair compensation, I got a lot of excuses about why engineering freshers from T2 colleges are getting paid a lot more than myself.
Last but not the least, the guy who gets all the credit, it is like the entire firm is trying to open up a special path for him to the top. No wonder we have such a high attrition rate.

At any rate, actively looking to switch firms. Would be glad if someone could refer me.
