Depends on the purpose a person chooses a brand.
Its the result of a recent survey conducted in Asian countries that most users choose an eye wear mainly based on the design and a minisucle amount are bothered about the lens technology. This is not right, atleast according to me. Whats the point hiding behind a brand? Get the point. |
So what you're saying is that RB's lens technology is crap compared to other brands?
If I'm holding a RB and lets say a Maui Jim. How can I tell the difference in quality between the lens of the two? Any pointers?
Guys,
Is this what people call sixth sense....Man today evening i was thinking about having a thread for sun glasses and behold here it is (and that too started 2 years back...amazing)...
I am always amazed by sunglasses but the problem i have is that i am not comfortable wearing them. I get an irritating feeling between my eyebrows. But 1.5 year back what happened, i went for skywalk in chennai and saw this simple elegant beauty and plunged. A polaroid
Brown tinted lens with class c filter
Black frame
I somehow couldnt find similar tints in ray ban.
And what happened after that I made it a order to wear glasses whenever i go out irrespective of my irritation. And now i am comfortable with my glasses. No uncomfortable feeling.
One more thing happened during the first few days of my usage. Since i was not used to sunglasses, every time i used it i got the feeling that the weather has changed and it is going to rain and i would rush to my office to prevent myself getting wet. stupid:
1.5 years later I just love every moment with my polaroid (though i find its not possible to use it after 18.00 hrs. I would love to use it againt dust while driving in night) my next glass would surely be a polaroid.
I've Fastrack aviators - polarized for everyday driving.
These got delivered y'day.

Sorry, however this does not look original to me. How much did you pay and where was it bought from.

If its not too much to ask for. Can you scan the bill and post it here. Ferrari has a distributor here in India and they pay the shipping and duties. How did they mention it on your bill?

Don't have the bill with me now. The duties (about 30%) were paid by FedEx at the time of customs clearance. They collected the amount at the time of delivery.
Here's another pic:

It wasn't purchased locally but direct from the international ferrari store , it was shipped from Italy via fed-ex. There is a 30% customs or so on sunglasses which I found googling which is what he was charged I guess
Bought Powered glares of Tommy Hilfiger worth Rs. 9700 two days back. I use it for my everyday driving.

This is my RayBan. Bought it for QR 675/- (Rs 8775/-)
No idea about model name. Been using for 3 years now.
