Updating to Kaspersky 2013 seems to have solved my problem. I have cleared my cache and the photos are uploading perfectly, for now. Touchwood!

Some bug with generating embedded Youtube videos I guess?

Need to remove the 's' from https after pasting the link. That will take care of the issue.

Hi everyone,

I tried to look in forums for my reply, but couldn't find any. Hence posting it here
May be I am lucky to get a suitable reply from the BHPians

"Since last week I am unable to view images posted in thread, I have tried clearing caches & cookies but of no use. Still problem exisits.

I am using IE and also tried viewing in Google Chrome. Don't know what went wrong with the images?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Regards.

Hi Moderators,

I have 2 queries.

1. Is there a direct link to get to this section http://www.team-bhp.com/web/index.ph...displaylisting from anywhere on the forum, if not, could you have one? I think its very hard to get to this section if you are looking for such reviews.

2. I have subscribed to the Vintage car forum and get an email everyday with the list of threads that have been updated and those which are new, is it possible to have the updated threads with links to the latest post rather than the first post of the thread? So that regular followers can get to the newest post directly?

Thank you,

Srinand.

Its either because of the reason Tejas mentioned, or if the url is enclosed in additional tags.

If you report the post, mods will take care of it. Samurai has fixed this one.

Thanks.

Really sorry about this airwolf!

The problem is caused by your Kaspersky. It only affects certain websites, of which Team-BHP is one :(

Quick fixes (until they resolve this):
1) Update from the 2012 version to the 2013 version (your license key will work)
2) Add *.team-bhp.com/* to "trusted sites" list under Settings > Web Anti-virus -- though if TBHP gets a virus, you'll be vunerable...

Sorry, no -- as we're trying to phase out that section and replace it with something better soon!

You'll have to bookmark the link.

One way i can think of is if you go to your User CP - and then click the red arrows* next to each new thread listed there, you'll be taken to the first unread post for you.

* = If using the BHP Silver skin.

Thanks Rehaan, the problem is solved now as I added Team BHP to trusted sites under my Kaspersky Anti-virus.

1) Do you think that by adding this to trusted sites won't create any problems with my Anti-virus?
2) And how did this happened from last one week, as I am using this Anti-virus since almost a year, never faced such kind of problem earlier.

Thanks again for your kind help.

Regards.

Its not an ideal long-term solution, since *IF* Team-BHP gets infected with malware, your Kaspersky won't try to stop it, since you say its a "trusted site".

There was a Kaspersky automatic update (end October / early Nov) that caused this change :(

Just to confirm, there is some kind of anti virus protection that Team-BHP runs on its servers right? To protect against viruses. Or is there none on your end and if we add it to the trusted sites do we get very vulnerable?

Try clearing your browser cache. These corrupt images might still be loading from your cache due to the previous visits.

If this still doesn't work - do post here again.

Thanks:thumbs up That worked after clearing the cache.

Thanks for the support.

Could the mods split the sticker spotting thread into major cities at least? We already have a 1000+ pages run thread. One could scan through these threads in a better way if the posts were split according to the city of spotting. At least places like Mumbai, Bangalore etc deserve a thread of their own. Sorry if this has already been brought up before, but as the threads grow, its getting more and more difficult.

Today I updated Kaspersky from 2012 to 2013 version, and working very well without any issues which I had earlier.

Thanks Rehaan for your support and wish you A VERY HAPPY DIWALI !!!

I am not sure, if it was like this earlier or if any update is going on, in the links section, provided at the top of our galleries. Below is a snapshot. I\'m on the BHP Silver theme.

Yes, we do have a fairly solid set-up (that we've further improved over the years) -- however, no site is ever 100% secure - so keeping that in mind i put in that warning.

Hi audioholic,

Yep this has been requested a few times before, and given the sheer volume of sticker spottings (especially in Bangalore), i'm beginning to warm up to the idea. Give us some time to discuss it.

Try clearing your cache and restarting your browser. This should fix it.
