Cars movies: Gone in 60 seconds, Fast and the furious, Cars
and the best car movie I have seen would be a french movie called 'Taxi' : sipmply awesome!

Best car chase scenes: Ronin
Bullitt - The visual experience of watching a '68 Mustang GT 390 Fastback chasing a Dodge Charger Magnum is exhilirating

my choice would be the movie version of the famous anime : Initial D

for those who want to see real Japanese style downhill drifting this is the movie to watch \m/

also the anime itself is pretty cool

1. Fast and the furious series.. loved the Tokyo drift for the drifting they did on those cars (film sucks)
2. Italian job ( using modified mini coopers for stealing) awesome
3. die hard 4.0 crashing of cars, bikes, trucks choppers..

i am an action freak.. i guess list is endless.. even our hindi movies are becoming better now a days

Here's a video I recently came across. Contains footage from some of the best car chases in movies.
Some of the movies that I could identify:
Bullitt
Gone in 60 seconds
Italian Job (original)
Ronin
Bad Boys 2
Matrix reloaded

Enjoy!

my 2 cents

terminator 2: judgement day. gotta mention it

was hooked on to harley fatboy from then on

esp the chase where connor is being chased by T1000 in the truck and arnold squeezes the fatboy between the wall and the truck.

plus the harley jump scene

Gone in 60 seconds and the fast and furious series. Loved them. Also a must watch for the humor and car chases is Dukes of Hazzard, the new version which came out abt 2-3 years ago i think.
