I was wondering why India is not trying to get back PoK from Pakistan. Now I know why - somebody suggested India should not do what Pakistan is doing

Note: Why my son, I would like anybody to stand up to bullying and show them a thing or two, instead of meekly escaping from the place like a spineless coward

If you "practice what you preach" then .
PS: Remaining silent doesn't always indicate that you are a spineless coward. It might just be the silence before the storm . Storm being an indicative of an "action" (like destruction to houses, trees etc) being done. Not just mere words.

2. Symonds was in a boat in shark infested waters. The boat capsized and he swam for 45 min to reach the shore.
And the sharks watched with their mouths agape ? or they escorted him safely back to shore ? And what was he doing in shark infested waters ? Practising sledging ?

Before anyone does a Sreesanth on me - I was kidding.

Its the Aussies who talk & talk vulgar. If they walk their talk they will be jailed as per Indian Penal Code . Hope Indians also don't walk their talk and play some good cricket

Better to let go of your frustrations rather than keeping it yourself and do something miserable, such as demolition of house, cutting down a tree and other forms of vandalism
Note: This form of 'storm' is practiced by few Indian Cricket fans after India's defeat. Hope you don't do it

3rd ODI, Ganguly back. He might replace Gambhir. I want Powar to be dropped & play Rohit Sharma.

Rohit Sharma

Playing role: All-rounder
Batting style: Right-hand bat
Bowling style: Right-arm offbreak

So the playing 11 would be:
1. SG
2. ST
3. RU
4. YS
5. RD
6. MSD
7. RS
8. IP
9. ZK
10. HS
11. SS

He he he. Loved the conversations in pages 101 & 102. MCL, you portray the typical mahatma, maybe it is time you changed to the Subash Chandra Bose which is more befitting for cricket or any other sport. LOL

You have been rewarded. Rohit Sharma is in and Ganguly sits out. Also Powar is out.

Australia 140 in 30 overs with lot of wickets in hand. By some logic, they will make (140x2=) 280 in 50 overs. So its 281 to win for India. Less than 300. Can India make it this time?

They may come closer to 300 or cross 300 in 3 consecutive times.....think it will a record........Our bowling really sucks. Don't know what our batsman does in afternoon. Keeping my finger crossed.......

If you want a score less than 300, then ask the curator to do so. Don't blame our bowlers.

Do you think this is really a cause of concern to someone who doesn't think winning is everything? But putting up a good fight is?

. Dhoni says his bowlwers let him down from overs 30-50 overs and that was the reason for the 300s. You say tell the curator.

Anyways, it was interesting to see:

1. Australians playing the waiting/patient game in the middle overs & winding up with big blows in the end. They seemed to have curbed their natural instinct and are playing according to the conditions.

2. Bhajji bowled really well, I am beginning to wonder if the "calmness " helped him gain better control (over the ball & himself).

3. Pathan is certainly showing he is the better of the bowlers & consistent at that.

4. Symonds & Clarke let the bats do the talking. Yet again.

5. Smiles all around were a welcome sign, inspite of the tensions that prevailed.

6. Sreesant is doing more of an Agarkar. Only difference is that Agarkar has monkey ears, while Sreesant behaves like one . And someone please give him some mental stability lessons, you CANNOT afford to loose your head and gave away extra runs like that after dropping a sitter.

7. Fielding was pretty good today.

8. End overs didn't cost us as much. Or another score of 300 was surely on the cards. Well done bowlers.

9. Whoever mentioned about Ricky Ponting decimating the opposition in every game he played against the Indian's just got proved wrong. A great leveler this game of cricket is.

10. Our fearless captain seems to be having some kind of fear issues at times. He withdraws into the shell too soon & goes into defensive mode. With a new batsmen Ponting at the crease you cannot have just 4 men in the ring. I can understand that if it was for Hayden. Once again, his faith in Yuvraj to bowl in the end overs has let him down.

11. Yuvraj has not scored even a 50 in the last 10 games against Aus in India. Its time he ups his ante.

12. Can't wait to see Rohit Sharma play.

13. Most surprising thing was to see the Aussies drop Haddin and retain Hodge. That guy must be really talented for them to take such a decision inspite of Haddin being the MOTM at Kochi.

14. Somehow the calmness with which our bowlers bowled today seemed to have paid off well. Wonder if we should stick to our game-plan & strengths rather than trying to emulate someone else.

Sreesant tries to justify himself using the catch line "I am a child".

From Cricinfo:

"In related news, a lawyer from Jalandhar has filed a criminal complaint against the Indian team for "disrespecting" the national flag after winning the Twenty20 tournament."
