160 on a 2005 zen with 2 people on board and the ac switched off and yeah stock tyres.Reached 160 pretty fast i must say as i was doing it on the godrej road while coming back from mulund

a bit OT

can someone post the max an erlx Xing can do in each gear? If I remember right it can go only 115 in 3rd.

Have a 215 KM/H in my eclipse .Snaps in the region of 200 though!!
But the best yet is in a 288kph in a grand cherokee SRT8 completely stock!...really make you dizzy!!

160kph in my friends RD350 in ring road bangalore from new bel road till hebbal flyover....was awesome as each of us were taking turns riding and there was only one helmet...speed of wind on the face was awesome...felt as though the skin was gonna come off!!!!

Anand, go slow on your car as its new. Can you post the tacho reads when you achieve these speeds as it would be helpful.

@ kick throttle : i answered jk's question for the max speed of santro. Try to understand what is that before u reply.

i didn't mean 165. i have done 155 in my santro. i'll try some other time to reach 165 but i am sure i am going to do that.

@ jk : wil definitely post the pics when i reach max speed.

All speedo readings - so calculate some errors, please.-
I have done max
149 - Wagon R- Express highway( mumbai- Pune).
140and a notch better- indica V2- Express highway
180- checked and rechecked thrice to see if was fluke- then got it clicked and videographed too- Accent Viva Crdi- Ahmedabad Expressway and then soemwhere near Jaipur ( on return trip too) and was absolutely comfortable.( Company manual says max speed-160 kmph)- is this additional 20kmph - speedo error ? I dunno.
Love to own Accord 2008 - V6 - 268 bhp- its reported-somewhere in year 2011- when it will be available in used car market at around 10lakhs-
and then let me see- if I can better it. Till then let me see if I buy Verna and Peterify it and then how much I can better it. Currently in the conceptualisation stage and not implementation- incubation period. looking for help, advises and suggestions, please.
