Scorcher, where did you find the Cadillac limo? What is the present condition of the car? It had been lying at a local workshop for the last couple of years.

@foby - Thanks brother, but no idea on the falconic details. I just have a faint feeling that this one belongs to the Maharaja HH Marthanda Varma, i kinda recall seeing a similar one in his fleet when i went to the palace with my dad to invite him for a function. But, i do have my doubts as every car from the Royal garage carries the a royal emblem, a Golden Conch in front and rear. Which is missing in this case.

@mahesh2010- Porsche did launch the Diesel Cayenne a like a year ago with the V6 mill from VW Touareg. But evidently it failed to gather flocks/takers as its other siblings the S, GTS and the almighty Turbo S. Porsche hit the rock so hard on trying to bring there brand 'down to earth' that the german marque will in near future phase out the bestseller-Cayenne and the Ah! So fresh Panamera and stick to the Sportscar makers club.

@bivin- The car(limo) was in tvm for more than a decade now. It was used exstensively until the owner(a IT giant) passed away some 4-5 yrs back. Then it remained untouched for couple of years until one day they discovered that she was'nt breathing(starting) properly and had some problem with her eye lid(wipers) Then it was brought to this work shop, from that day she is resting in this low key workshop. The guy never bothered to take her back and the workshop guy got a easy show piece.

@foby- Cayenne diesel was only launched recently, much after the facelift. The kajah one defenitly is a Petrol.

@anand- same garage enroute PTP.

The white one owned by the star plastics is Petrol , the one which Josco had is Petrol.

@Scorcher- that KEQ registered Ford Falcon is from Paripalli,Kollam.Imported from Singapore and now dieselised

I had seen this car last month,enquired about the car in vintage car thread and this is the info i got.

@ Foby - as scorcher said diesel cayenne has been introduced around 1 year only,then there is no chance of the old prefacelift cayenne being a diesel

Saw a W221 S class (white colour) today near museum,tvm. I know that there's nothing special about it but this car had a different set of wheels. I couldnt see the wheels clearly but I think it is 5 spoke. I've never seen this type of wheels before and almost all w221 s-class' in Kerala has the standard 7 spoke wheels (except the S500). Does anyone know about this car?

Thats a vague description buddy, Afaik there is only 2 W221 S's in tvm. One is 01-A*-5 which since recently runs on taxi plates and belongs to the Boxster guy, the other one is 01-A*-6 and belongs to a 'infamous' planter and this one is most of the time parked in Taj Residency, Thycaud.

Spotted today, at Edapally, a Cadillac Escalade. Boy this one is humonguous .Photos hardly convey the superlative size of this thing
Also there was this RX8 nearby to give it some company.Sorry for the shabby pics, clicked with my mobile cam, you can't really shoot in the dark with these things

@aravind- Great find buddy ! That Escalade was the most talked about car in few days in this thread.

Massive Presence and charecter. But personally not a big fan of the SUT version. SUV is the one to have.

Nice catch Aravind. I too feel that it would have looked much better in its suv form. Its owner seems to have a nice collection in Dubai. Which all cars does he have in Kerala?
