Coming to Creta, i honestly have not explored the 5-seater segment. However, let me take a look. Thanks for the suggestion!
Am waiting for any news on facelifts for XUV since its more than 1.8 years (i guess?) since there was an update.
Yup, I drive a storme and can't think of other vehicles in this price range that match the comfort of the storme. The only issue could be the ingress for your grand mom. My grand mom is touching 90 and it was quite an exercise for her to get into the storme for the only one ride she did in it (more a wish to sit in it than an everyday necessity). Had to use a stool etc. Not sure how the xuv matches up in this regard.

The storme is actually a good looker, but I guess that is a very personal thing

Will look at Creta and storme this weekend!
Also what impact will the GST bill have on cars priced above 15L? Anyone with any information?

Test drove the hexa. And fell in love! It just glides over potholes and the drive quality is amazing. Interior quality could have been improved but its much better than XUV!
Went to mahindra to drive the XUV a second time and i must say, was not impressed. Hexa ticks all the boxes and hope the pricing is attractive.
Will book the XM variant. Thanks for all the inputs and will update if any progress!
XUV has to do much more to keep up.

hexa pricing? Can you share more please?

I am on same boat. Looking to upgrade from Duster - not looking to stretch upto Fortuner and there's a huge gap between XUV and Fortuner.

Since prices are not yet officially announced, I was hoping for it to be attractive. Showroom says 12-18.

If Tata manages to stick with those figures, it would definitely make Hexa sell in good numbers!

BTW, we are a family of three (my parents and myself). We'll go for the Hexa, but the last row will remain unused most of the time! Anyone here in a similar situation, please let me know so that I can convince myself further. Lol!

I am in the same position too. I have been driving XUV from past 5 years now and want to replace it in 2017. We are a family of three too (me,wife and my mom). Last row of seats in my XUV have only been used really twice, rest of th e time, my Woofer enjoys the ride

Now the thing is that there is no SUV under 20 lakhs that i can buy. I have the option to buy car from canteen so i can look at Endy as well but only the lower Trend model. But that too would be a stretch. Wife say to buy XUV again but in a AT mode. I dont want to go for XUV again though i have no hard feeling for it, its just that i am bored with the interiors now and also the current XUV bonnet is so boring compared to first generation ones and looks lame.
Creta is small and does not command the price its selling at rightnow. Tucson too is over priced.
Hexa is MPV hence not sure if i can go for it. Unless the price is sweet when launched or if i can find someone who can modify it a bit to look more SUVish.

What to do, i am so damm confused rightnow. All day i keep going through Endy's review and keeps drooling on it looks.

Personally I think your wife has the best advise XUV in AT mode. Traffic being what it is I would give lot of points to AT.

That being said how about Skoda Yeti, it is available in CSD and if being bought in Jaipur or Ahmadabad can result in significant savings especially if its end of year buy.

If humongous size is the priority then Iszu MU-7 can be looked.

Well, endy is good but the trend version comes to 30 on road, Bangalore as far as i know. That is way too much.

And looking at hexa, i get a feeling that its a mixture of cars! Neither an suv, nor an mpv. The alloys and front looks give it the character of an suv. But the rear and side profile tells something different. But it sure drives like an suv, thats for sure!

Now there are many people with 20L as max budget, looking for a good suv. And the choices we have are just these 2. So no other option, but to choose the hexa over xuv. And they aren't full fledged suvs also! Everything comes with a price.

I will go for XUV again only when i can get the bonnet changed to the old one and maybe head lights too. Really hate the current ones. Will have to check with service station if i can do this without warranty issues, which i believe i can.

As for Yeti, its way too old now. Skoda should have brought in new generation one, if there is any.
