Re: Do I really need the THAR? EDIT: Booked Getaway!

Sorry some OT Question:-

kindly excuse me for my less knowledge on these trucks.

Is the Getaway more specious then current Scorpio?
I mean to say middle row leg space is better then Scorpio?
Getaway is more comfortable ( consider long drive, more then 2K KM ) then Scorpio?

Re: Do I really need the THAR? EDIT: Booked Getaway!

the getaway is only a pickup truck version of the Scorpio (also called a "double cab" version) - the load bed at the back serves perfectly for hauling things. I personally find the legroom in the standard scorpio middle row a little better than in the getaway. the front 2 seats and driving position is the same in the regular scorpio and in the getaway.

I have driven few pickups including the Nissan. The legroom in the middle-row is always less in pickups compared to the regular versions.Same is the case with Hilux and Fortuner.

Re: Do I really need the THAR? EDIT: Booked Getaway!

Thanks everyone for the wishes!

I have driven about 150 Kms today including a very little bit of engaging 4H and 4L. Will start my ownership review soon.

Mods: Please lock this thread.

P.S: Just came to know that its not a Oct 2010 vehicle. Its Dec 2010

150 kms already. Looks like you are in full mood to complete the Running In well in time for the Beach Drive. Looking forward to the ownership thread.
