| ![]() It was an excellent meet. Thanks to Ravi for his hospitality & taking care of everyone of the guests. Food was excellent. Being a veggie has its advantages. Got a whole lot of veggie snacks all for ourselves. Relished the dinner menu specially Paneer & rotis. There were 2 topics which everyone munched on one was on automobiles & second was food. RajuDatla kept us in splits with his gyaan ala Samkapasi. Hillram's remodelled 1984 Maruti 800 was the centre of attraction. Done in orange colour it was gleaming. Really appreciate his passion. Its just fun to be in the company of Avi, Raveendra, Kartik, Anurag, Bajajsaab, Anand, Venu saab, Mash & others. Missed Nilesh though. Thanks team. ![]() |

| ![]() it was a great meet. as for me, this is my first team bhp meet since nearly 2 years and the only faces from those days were avinash (mobike008) and hillram. well, i was the "food photographer" and clicked a few snaps of the "virgin" food before we set upon them. so here goes: The Non Veg section: Starters: (top to bottom) Mutton Fry, Naatukodi Chicken Fry, Fish Fry, Prawn Fry (contd) Non Veg Section: Mains: (top to bottom) Mutton Curry, Naatukodi Chicken Curry (contd) Veg Starters: (top to bottom) Aalu 65, Cut Mirchi, Masala Chana, Masala Peanuts, Mysore Bajji/Crispy Vegetables/wachamacallit? (Contd) Veg Mains, Rice and Dessert (I forgot to click pix of onion salad, rotis, steamed rice and curd) (top to bottom) Paneer Curry Sambar Biryani/Bagara Rice Dabal-ka-meetha BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRP.....excuse me... ![]() thats about it! of course we are not allowed to post pix of things whose names shall not be mentioned, so I desist. The photographs just do NOT do any justice to the food at all. The real food scored cent percent on looks and taste. Amazing is the word. My lunch yesterday was the "sambhar", which I took back that evening, with rice and ghee. Thanks for the lovely food once again, Ravi. Just let me know when you plan again!!! | |

| ![]() Can someone summarize the Datlaism that kept everyone in splits at the Meet? Did you mean Nilesh or Nikhil ![]() ![]() Heard rave reviews about the food at NoRules Dinner Meet. Could not make it as was needed to be at home taking care of my lil' toddler. Quote:
Example 1: On the left is the top-down pic of the cake. Plain and Flat to look at, where as on the right is an angled picture of the same cake. Now, which looks more appealing? Would you love to eat the one on the left or the one on the right. Even though, they both are of the same cake, the right one stands out a lot more and would appeal one to eat it. ![]() Example 2: Golden Fried Mushroom I made at home, with Cheese Oozing out of the mushrooms. ![]() | |

| ![]() Ofcourse you were missed. I asked Bajaj saab and Avi several times to call you. Bajaj saab was tracking you constantly and kept informing me that you were still at home. Last edited by NoRules : 24th January 2012 at 09:40. |

| ![]() Neilguy is Neelesh Mohile and he was present (we came together). But then, no issues, mixing up of names for the first few times is a perfectly acceptable norm. |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() Some members of Deccan Marauders had a wonderful ride yesterday. The members were :- Mobike008 Ardy Traveloholic Raju Datla We met up at Minerva Coffee Shop for a lovely breakfast which was a treat by a newbie bull (Desert Storm) owner Raju Datla and post that we embarked on a lovely ride till Gandipet. At Gandipet, when we stopped for a quick photoshoot and were pleasantly surprised to be mobbed by a big group of +2 college students who were there on a picnic and everyone wanted to click a picture sitting on a BULL We were more than happy to oblige them and post that we rode back to city under the envious glances of fellow road users who kept turning back and checking us out. We took a slight detour and rode back via. the service road on ORR where we stopped for another quick photoshoot before riding back via. Gachibowli to Lumbini Park were as it happens each year during Republic Day, the vintage car and bike rally was in progress. We spent an hour checking out the beauties ( Royal Enfields, Triumphs, Nortons and some RD-350's stole the show) Jan 26th will be remembered not just because it was a republic day but, also for the eventful and enjoyable BULL RIDE ![]() @Traveloholic, can you please treat our other members with a few pictures from our ride yesterday? |
