It was a great ride meet this morning and absolutely enjoyed every moment of our ride together. It was especially nice to see so many varied bikes are riding together in harmony and what i liked the most is we all rode sanely and nobody was speeding, overtaking unneccesarily

For a good part of the onward journey Mashmash and Bluenicotine were following me and I could see their frustrated stares in my review mirror as I was at a constant speed of 60kmph ( Manual says, dont cross 50kmph until first 500kms) and they thought i was riding liesurely ( they dont know me too well yet...LOL) simply unaware that i am bound by R.E bound constraints to let my spirit go FREE.

Therefore, I signalled them to go ahead which they gladly obliged with a sigh of relief. This meet must be one of those unique ones where i was almost the last riders of the group

It was an amazing experience to ride the Maroon Marauder on the open highways. My throttle slack is just about complete and i am at 60kmph and I have not even opened my main throttle. Boy o' Boy ! I cant wait for the RUN-IN period to complete pronto

Alright, here are some snaps from today morning, sorry didnt click too many group pictures from my camera. Also, pardon me for showing off MM, it was shining like a crazy diamond in that morning sunlight so just couldnt resist posting several pics of my MM

I love Shyamal's bullet and that color makes it stand out so much and the thump it was making was heart-stopping. He is contemplating a new color for it and it is going to make it look even more awesome.

All in all, it was a great ride meet and lets mark a calendar for these ride meets in future ( Nikhil, how about a Deccan Marauders Ride Meet Calender for 2012? Perhaps, one in a month? Please dont forget to feature me in one of the month on my MM....LOL?

P.S: Keep your eyes peeled out on this thread and also your calendar blocked for Jan 11th between 12:30pm-2:00pm

They were two cyclist who got enamoured by our group and spent quite a bit of time along with us chatting about our passion for automobiles and one of them wishes to join us for future meets

Not so much On the way to the lake but on the return I could not resist.

BTW My mindblowing gear does not have enough space even to carry a P&S camera. I need to find a way to carry it on the next meet.

It was worth the pain taken and the penny spent on getting it done. Ram Bhai's painter Wajeed & Radium Guy Qudrath did a great job. The road leading to the lake shore was a rock bed, at most places gravel and sand was a thin layer on the rocks and not to mention uneven surface. For a minute, thought the Ninja will not be able to make it, but not bad at all it held up pretty well. I would not have tried this alone, but with all the thumpers and other bike's did want to look like a chicken. Today, my confidence went up riding the Ninja on really bad or non-existent roads albeit slow.

A seasoned and professional "madman" I was following you and loved the way you were handling the twisties. For a moment I thought we were on a track meet, but then the traffic around told me where I was. Too good buddy too good!

That's why I was wondering what happened to you. Run-in is a pain as I too am in the same phase but 80kmph is better than 60kmph. LOL!!!

Mobike008 : Can you change the thread title for the date (of the next meet).

Traveloholic : OTF has exactly 22 pax capacity. I counted when I was last there (last week) and Paresh Bhai told me that you have already warned him about the impending meet and all he needs is the confirmed date. Please do reserve enough tables and also pre-order a few dishes especially Meat Balls, the dish which misfired for me last time.

Request to all who wish to join : As the tables are limited, it would make it so much easier for all concerned if every one can confirm their presence as much in advance as possible. I am sure a few last minute walk ins can always be accommodated but if everyone decides to become a last minute walk-in, we may end up without food, without chairs, and what not. Please confirm ASAP!
