Yes it did .. Khaadu with a few of his friends , blue boy , tadu , madman and myself met at ashokas .. Stayed there till about 2 before heading home ..

Sweet very nice.. I dont understand the point of this thread if people are not told the plans well in advance.. Dont jump on me here... I knew you guys were meeting up but the point of this thread is so that many members can meet up..
When was the last time someone new could know where to join??
Why are all plans made last moment??

Can we for once decide on a proper place.. a proper date.. take in confirmations and meet up.. See the other town meet threads.. Complete with minimum of 20 members per meet..

Plans are made at the last minute because half (actually its 90%) of the members who post here dont turn up .. So we keep it flexible so that we can decide the plan based on the numbers as the clock ticks closer .. Say like if we have more than 3 cars and 10 members we often go for a drive .. Or if the numbers are less we settle for a long chat at ashoka's ..

Also , by now all the members have each others numbers .. I dont think it takes much to make a single phone call to figure out the plan .. If one is really interested in meeting up that is .. Others will always find faults and excuses even if everything is told in advance or otherwise .. I appreciate tadu in that respect , he cancelled his plans back in kerala and came down yesterday morn .. He does make it a point to meet up every weekend .. I salute that man's spirit ..

We can't make it a 20 member meet because no one is willing to come. The usual office/college/family thing makes its way in. There are no more Sunday morning drives either. The last time there were around 20 members was at the house party, and I can't remember when that happened before the party. Either we import a Yeti and make sure he has parties, or we be happy with the status quo.
