@ sudipto da - lets say about 25 + (just the members - if all of them make it to the meet). something tells me that you and 1100D know each other???

Nope Planet. I don't. Unless he knows me. 25 is a lot of people to meet in a restaurant. I guess the Maidan infront of the Victoria is the most central and ideal for this kind of meetings.

25 people can meet very easily in a restaurant. Many more have met. The problem might be in the sharing of the tab.

Maidan idea - noway! very bad idea - i dont like the crowd over there. Sher-e-Punjab seems to be better. we can even do "pet puja" at Tangra. How about Mishra's?

@ Sudipto da - are you sure that Rudra da will be coming to Kol?

Like Sam says, 25 people can be accomodated in a restaurant. We need to find a place that will let us have an entire wing for the afternoon/evening, and wouldn't object to a bit of noise(!!) coming from that side!
Or, we can do a repeat of the Kolaghat drive - this time try out the Uluberia Azad Hind. Nice drive, good food, weather should be decent (and adventurous)

@ i just hope that it rains if we are planning for a drive to Kolaghat Dhaba - only if it rains i will be able to take the Fiat. I havent yet pushed / floored her since i got her the FFE*. Oh boy! sounds great yaar.

Finding a restaurant wont be a problem - and i am sure they will not mind us making a bit of noise.

* not in a good mood - somebody broke one of the rear number plate light cluster.

well, in a restaurant the problem is small groups get formed or you sit fixed in one place. ideal would be a club, but the noise factor will be a problem for the inviting member later. ballygunge dhaba has an open air rooftop. but they don't serve you-know-what-i-mean.lily's in china town looks like ideal.

If anyone has connections with PWD, DVC etc , there can be a lot of guest houses that can be driven to and their compounds are usually superb meeting places. Just a pointer.

What about Spakz at Alipore. It has at least ample space to park all the member cars. But I am not sure what would be cost. I can check about the same if you can give me tentative date, no. of heads & other related info.

1. members - 25
2. Etc / Family - 10

therefore, max 35 people will be there.

ps: i have not considered 1100D, Hells Bells, indrajitr, adc, vinay (GLIX) since they are either inactive or out of Kolkata.

we havent fixed the date as well - but it will be in July
