I had a good brawl with a "mexi" kid in a souped up Civic Si, at the end showed him where his tattoo and japanese technology stands in the pecking order with respect to German muscles. Call me a sadist for taking on a poor Civic in a 3.2 liter Merc but then the Merc is all stock. Like they all say, if you want performance, simply buy a better car!! Have taken on a few Mustangs and waiting on the wings is a drag that I have promised a colleague of mine with a Mustang 3.8 (with the 4.8 above there is no chance the Merc stands). 3.8 VS 3.2 does not go in the favour of my car but with the power output and the 7000 rpm rev limiter (vs the 5500 rpm rev limiter on the 3.8). I have always seen the Merc pulling ahead. Yes American engines are big and they dont make much use of them.

True they don't serve alcohol. What about Space Circle then? Do they serve alcohol? I am not sure. Will check and get back. Sumantra Da, just to confirm we are looking for approx. 40 heads with food & drinks sometimes later this month only.

@ tathagata - yes it will be around 40 iff all of us make it to the meet. call me planet! (no probs if you call me Sumantra!)

@ 1100D - watever you do - do it on an empty strip. you have 5 ladies waiting for you back in Kolkata. well 3 of the other ladies are with you. play safe man! (yeah i know that you love to have fun!)

Yeah playing football on an empty field is quite fun. Anyway 3 ladies with me?! Is there one that I am failing to see somewhere, please show up? (enough of taking a free ride)

Hey guys, can we delay this meet a little? Do not get me wrong but I'm taking a 6am flight to Kolkata on 21st and back on 29th evening.

Is there anyway we can meet?

yup he was saying that since you will be there with your camera all kolkata members will have new pics in the gallery shot by you.

that is if you take your camera.

@ Rudra da - we havent yet fixed the date for the meet and i guess it can be a delayed till 21st. not a problem.

@ 1100D - you have 3 mercs with you right - (C, E & S)

PS: since yesterday, Kolkata is flooded. i hope mother nature wont be that harsh in the last week of July.

Time: 11:00 AM
POA : since the number of members has increased - we can either go for a drive and stress more on getting to know each other with lots of "adda" and "daaru".

if anyone of you cant bring your car - just tag along with anyone of us. what say.

@ guys - please suggest.

@ shuvd - please ask rudra da to do a photo shoot of your Octy - your gallery needs better pics.
