Just wanted to ask, whether boarding and lodging will also be taken care of on sharing basis/individual basis, so that out station people like me can plan well in advance.
Looking forward for the response so as to plan accordingly, and am sure it will be great fun to meet the fellow Bhpians and share their experiences.

No boarding / lodging options are taken care of.

BUT you can find outstation members here who are also planning to take a hotel / guesthouse and then decide if you want to share. Maybe you can team up with people from your city and around and plan the trip together

We can suggest you a lot of places around Auto Expo where you can put up. A lot of Bed & Breakfast options are available in Delhi.

From my 2008 experience, a smart thing to do is take up a good place near a metro station.
That way, your commute would be dead cheap and convenient. You could either save the money or stay in a more luxurious place.

There is a Hare Krishna Guest house in Pahar ganj, I guess rooms are below Rs.500, near to metro station, frequented by backpackers.

Regardless of the image, Paharganj is full of good backpacker accommodation and you can find rooms in whatever range you are looking for. I was surprised when someone told me that he was staying in Rs.250 per night in Delhi.

well, that's not an issue at all. Infact My first ever TBHP meet was 2008 Auto Expo Mega Meat, and I met some great people, and have been hooked ever since.

And I am sure there would be another meetup before the mega meet, you can try to attend in that one to get more familiar with people.

BTW! why don't people here vote and send contribution money for the party to a single trusted fellow who lives near or can take the pain of arranging the after hours party venue.
