I'm in for 9th , as per the poll 38% of the BHPian want to meet on 9th and only 14.55% on 8th and the rest ( 47.27 % ) are open to meet any day , so i guess 9th Jan is the Dday

8th friday (15.25%) ,9th saturday (38.98%) Rest (45.76%).Guys saturday and sundays are really bad days to go if you really want to enjoy all the cars.If possible try and avoid it on saturday and sunday.

Just a tip to those thinking of having a meet at the Expo itself. The venue Pragati Maidan is a very, very large complex and as with mostly all things designed under the guidance of Indian bureaucrats, almost impossible to fathom unless you have years of experience of trolling that area (trust me, I've been exhibiting there for 15 years now).

So unless the number of people meeting up are small and well co-ordinated its going to be a disaster with different people at different entry gates and halls and general chaos all around.

If you really want to meet up, decide an exact gate and an exact time to meet up and ensure everyone follows that else its going to be just one big mess. Ask Nitrous for a hands on experience of last year's expo.

I agree with Ishan in the above post. Meeting at the Expo is Impossible with HUGE crowds coming in ( imagine tens of thousands ! )

The best time really is early morning at 10. Winter time less peole make it at that time. 12 will see the maximum rush and then its a mad house till it closes.

The Meet - So are we on for Saturday ? Has anyone double checked with Zuch or should we look for other alternatives ?

Let's hurry up on the deciding venue as its now 2 weeks away.

Hi Guys,

I'll love to be there at the expo and at the team-bhp meet, but my only problem is I'll be flying to Delhi on 8th and will reach there (maybe in the morning or afternoon). This will be my first flight experience and first visit to Delhi. I don't know places in Delhi. Can anybody help me after I reach Delhi??

I needed info on all three points, but now my Delhi trip stands canceled.

I just spoke to Zuchhero & he has some family problems - his farmhouse will not be available so we need to look at other options. I honestly think we should start thinking impromptu smaller groups rather than one huge meet - in the absence of a proper venue (as in large farmhouse), coordinating a "MEAT" of this kind will be a nightmare.
