+1. And, we can increase the budget to Rs.600/head if it also includes something else.

Impromptu Lunch Meet

Me, Ram, Ravvs and Sagar met up today morning at Prabhu's workshop and talked cars and saw a beauty taking shape.

Later on we went for Lunch at some restaurant in Kukatpally wherein we had Andhra Thali. Boy that Thali was awesome especially the podi's.

After a hectic morning coupled with tasty lunch, I'm ready for siesta.

zzzzzz

Dude, first of all venturing out of A/C in this Hyderabad sun is in itself an adventure. Secondly talking car is a very hectic activity as well.

Thanked: Once

I havent been to any of the meets - quiet new here.

Can we have a set plan as to when the Team BHP Hyd meet would be. Would a weekened be a good suggestion? I think the majority of the folks here would be able to make it. Keeping the heat in mind I would suggest an evening meet at an inexpensive place (>/= 300) as suggested above. And yes a good parking place as well.

Need not be a dinner meet - we could also meet up at a coffee shop or something. My suggestion! the rest is upto you guys.

MC - why dont you take up lead and set it up.

Dear Aslam,

If you go thru this thread and the previous meet threads, you'll know that we keep having regular meets. The meets are scheduled with everyone's consensus. Its just that lot of people talk but then these "Keyboard Warriors" don't turn up and it eventually becomes the same set of regulars.

So as I have said earlier as well is that be regular on this thread and you'll know when and where the meet's happening. We welcome new people to come and join us in the meets so you guys need to take the initiative.

Cheers

Team Mars Meet

Today couple of us decided to meet at Team Mars, with a reason to have my new Peugeot 309 checked and get-to-know tehcnology of this car through experts.
At 11am myself and Raveendra drove to Team Mars garage and soon Mile cruncher joined us.we were pleasently surprised to see Furious Sphink (Sagar) there too.
Next 2 odd hours we explored Team Mars Garage and Paint Booth and believe me folks, this is one hell of a place for car care !!!The paint booth were sophisticated and even saw a job in progress.
There were Beamers,Mercs,Skods, you name the car getting repairs.Honestly i never thought New Mars was such a professional set up.
Kuods to Prabhu and the way he runs it.
I was too fascinated by the paint jobs that were being executed as it was a treat to eyes.
I recceived few tips and notes for my Peugeot, which made me content.
we were also given a walk though of the restoration of Jeep Rubicon and honestly im waiting to see the finished beast. It will be a head turner.
Raveendra..honestly you should start a thread on this.
We had a sumptuous meal at bar one and returned home with joy.
It was a one hell of a day.

+1 to Prabhu.
I was there a week or so back after getting directions from Nazim and with Prabhu's advice decided to give a makeover to my Alto. Told Prabhu that I will be back after lunch with the car. Never went back due to the heat wave and called him up to tell him I will be back after the heat wave is over. I will show off my shiny Alto after the makeover is completed sometimes in June/July.

I heard that people who get a high from travel are called traveloholics and I also heard that they like to invite Team-BHPians once a year only on this forthcoming saturday for partying? Did I hear it correctly?

We are talking about everything except when our next meet is going to happen

Its time for the monsoon to arrive. So are we all on for a monsoon drive meet in June?

It would be great if we can have a drive meet during the June 12th weekend.

How many are interested?
