Few songs that are must listen
Kandisa
Ma Rewa

Even their latest song "Chand" is awesome and is available on their site for free download. http://www.indianoceanmusic.com/download-song.php

The primary base of Indian Ocean is "Baul" Music from Bengal. I'm definitely sure you will enjoy it

So who all met up for Haleem? I got a text from Raj about the meet but, i was on a call then. Do write the detailed feedback of how it tasted, will dash there next if it's good.

Today evening, tried the first of this season. From Cafe Bahar, Hyderguda, it was super-duper delicious. Right amount of spices, loads of ghee, just 2 small bones in that one plate compared to a bunch you get elsewhere.

The texture was thick ( not too soft) and you can feel the meat. That's exactly how i like it.

Rs.55/Plate and it was totally worth it.

OT: I am still on the call but, couldnt resist posting here my delicious journey of first haleem of this season via. tastebuds down my throat...Slurrrrp

T-BHP Hyd!

Guys,

I logged on to T-BHP after a long time and then realized that my better half and I were already included into a meet which I sorely missed. I am still at work and will be traveling to the dark continent for the next couple of next weeks.

It was nice to see my name in the list though I do not enjoy the Haleem in Hyderabad but its the company which matters...once I am back to the city of Nawabs will I be able to enjoy your company.

As a parting shot...I got this SMS from my BIL from Bombay which I would like to share with you all...

zindagi mein kuch log khas ban gaye, mile tho mulaqat ban gayi, bichde tho yaad ban gaye, jo dil se mil gaye woh aap jaise khas ban gaye

Three cheers to Hyd T-BHP group

The detailed meet report coming tomorrow morning. Just a teaser of what happened all through.
5 people joined for the meet. Raj, myself, fleetmaster, Gaurav & Abdul (non team bhpians)

Started off with haleem at Shahdab, followed by Haleem at Shah Ghouse. Both the haleems were awesome.

Sorry Raj, we started off before you could reach there. As we descended straight from office, we were HUNGRY, as in REAL HUNGRY.

The whole haleem session was followed by Sulemani Chai. Amazing tea and it costs only 3 bucks. Love that tea always.

Raj had to leave post the tea session. We carried out with the rest of the plan minus The Tentative Baba.

Amazing Paans at Begum Bazaar, followed by the pot ice cream at Famous Ice Cream.

Overall a good time spent, wish others were there too. My friend Gaurav heard so much about our meets, that he wanted to see everyone and enjoy our company.

sorry guys,

i got time only after midnight, still went with a friend to Deccan Paradise as Shah Ghouse was closed already ??! at 3 am. I have to change my rating for the best haleems now... DP takes it! Rs.65 for a plate of the most delicious (is there a better word?) haleem and one pepsi free!

Must visit again!

Took home a parcel of khichdi kheema from Iqbal at Purani Haveli for Seher. Best khichdi probably in hyderabad today. 25rs only. (kheema is beef, by the way.)

If the "storm" whistles at you - whistle right back at it.

The whistling sound has been identified to a loose nut and it has been tightened. So might just be able to make it.

Was it, by any chance, the nut behind the wheel?!

So now we know for certain that you do not know how to whistle. :-"

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT:

There has been a poor response for the drive meet scheduled for tomorrow i.e. 15th Aug. In addition, traffic is a mess in town (and probably all towns en-route) due to the I-Day rallies, meetings, parades etc. Hence the drive meet stands re-scheduled (LOL how I love/hate that word - whatever happened to good old 'cancelled' or 'postponed' or 'delayed'). Date and venue will be announced in due course.

Cheers,
