The best car cover to buy

Folks - any recommendations on what is the best car cover to buy? I haven't used any car cover before, and I have heard that TYVEK is the best (?), but I do not know why and what else?

A related question is how frequently should one cover the car - my car will be in the open for 12 hours, under a covered car park for 12 hours. However I go outstation on holidays / work - should I be covering the car whenever it is not used? I do not know how cumbersome it is to cover the car and remove it.

Any advice would be appreciated!

There is a small dent on my car and Trident, Inner Ring Road, Bangalore wants 5 days to repair it as they need to send it to their facility in Kalyan Nagar. Do you guys know any reliable places near Airport Road to get it done?

Well my adventure stands in open air during night and its also near road, so after few days it satrts geting some abandoned sort of looks and tiny black spots due to flies.
So I am using one Body cover of some synthetic material, i dont know what brand is it, but its very light, and you can say it takes around 30 minutes daily.
First before puting on the cover, i clean all the dust from the car and then cover it with body cover. In morning first i remove the cover, shake it well so that all dust deposited on it is removed.
So i think one has to take care of two things, to clean car before puting cover, and to clean cover after removing it.
I would strongly reccomend a body cover if your car is standing in open.
I am also looking for another body cover of some fabric so that car can breathe when i plan to cover it for longer period.

I have used this before and its quite the charm. I'll have to post pics of my car sometime.

I too once saw a poster at the sahara mall parking, but that too is removed now.
I searched for it but couldn't find it. Whatever is available at the dealers is the normal teflon coating.
Anyone knows any place in gurgaon or delhi, where we can get better car care treatment(i am not asking for just products, but the service too).
Like 3m car detailing.

MSM in Okhla was "supposed" to have some different 3M car care services. But when I enquired, they told me that it is Teflon coating only and available at all dealers.

Rudra da, for our understanding , please let us know the difference in the 3M car detailing services ( the one where there are diff packages for new and old cars ) and the normal teflon coating that the dealers provide.
I guess the former is available in Bombay / Bangalore easily. Yet to find one in NCR.

How are the car dusters (those flowery, feathery jhaadu type thingies) for use on a car?
Shopkeeper is claiming that these dusters will attract dust and can be used in a day-to-day manner when you dont have time to wash the car.

How effective is this thingamagig?

The Car Care Club - NEED INPUTS

@ itwasntme / @ Jagguji / @ Rudraji ,

Please let me know if any of you tried the service here? I am planing to take my Ford 2000 Model for a exterior treatment, as I see lot of swirl marks and if I can see very very tiny holes on the body where paint has eaten up. I love the color of the car which is "Tarmuline Green" as Ford India says other wise the ride is in too good condition.

Please advise what type of detailing stuff that I should go far.

Thanks
